Free Music Review: A great live album

This is a great live album any AIC fan will love. The live versions of Bleed the Freak and Them Bones are the best tracks though, one listen to Them Bones and you can hear how great of a guitatist Jerry Cantrell is. The only downside is on the later tracks (from Them Bones to the end of the disc), you can hear that Layne Staley doesn't sound as good as he used to due to his drug addictions. It's a damn shame, because Alice in Chains was a great band, and this is all we have left of them.Free Music Review: Neal Clark Reynolds Needs a "Primal" Beating

Why did the previous reviewer even bother? Seriously, Neal just doesn't get it. I'll bet that he doesn't get African culture either. Thanks for enlightening us Neal 'ol chum.
This album is a nice selection of live performances from a great band. How did such a small man belt out such powerful vocals? Even though the songs are a bit dated, the pure emotion that is conveyed through them is still inspiring. If you are a fan of AIC, then you won't be disappointed.

Out of all of the live albums I have heard, this is one of the best ones. The songs song all sound similar to the studio recordings.but there is one flaw. It's Layne Staley's voice. But he had a huge drug problem and that really messed him up. It's not as good as it used to but it's still decent. This album would be better if they had Sunshine and Grind on it but the album is still good.

layne is the man! ive always loved AIC, and if this is the only official released live cd by em, its a good one! such a tragedy, but this cd is a great live one. a lot of live cd's dont deliver, either too overdubbed, or not enough, but this one just hits... feels like youre right there. too bad it isnt longer. I give this four stars because the studio cuts sound better and the unplugged live album was a better album than this, but it is still an above average live album that includes many of the hits and fan favorites. If you are a crazy AIC fan, like me, then I suggest adding this to the collection.
