Free Music Review: AIC is one of the most underrated bands of all time.

This greatest hits album is amazing - I've had it for a year and listen to it almost everday. I never seem to get tired of it. If you like Metallica, Soundgarden, STP, Pearl Jam, or Nirvana, then you should like AIC. Look, they just kick a$$. That's all they do - kick a$$. Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell are probably some of the best sounding vocalists out there, and their sound is amazing. I just wish they would get back together and tour some so that I could see them live. Watch the Unplugged performance and you'll know what I'm talking about. Oh yeah, just ignore Iron Gland...it must be some kind of a sick joke.Free Music Review: One of the best bands ever

The 90's brought us a lot of talented rock bands and AIC most definetly was one of the best. RIP Layne, he is missed. This is a superb collection of the best that AIC gave to us. Now sure I would leave a couple off and replace them with a couple of my own favorites but all in all this is a great compilation of AIC's best. I dont think I should have to go into detail on the greatness of AIC. If you dont already have all AIC albums and are looking for a new rock album and realize that you might as go with a classic because lets face it nothing today sounds this good then pick this up, you wont regret the money spent for sure.Free Music Review: Alice In Chains - Best Rosk Album of The Year

With Alice In Chains release of Nothing Safe on June 29, the rock and roll world was given a well needed upboost of excitement. This album put together many of the greatest rock songs of the 90's from one of the greatest band in the past 10 years. The effect of the newly recorded "Get Born Again" reminds die hard AIC fans of how talanted this band really is. If you are going to buy one album this year, this is it. A MUST HAVE. Jerry Cantrell once again displays his amazing guitar skills on this min long guitar solo, and layne expresses the hurt done from all of all the rumors of the break up. 5 StarsFree Music Review: Alice In Chains

If your one of those people who have just now discovered Alice In Chains and don't know what CD to buy first, well I think you should get this one because it has 14 of their best songs on it and is a better AIC mix than the greatest hits CD and the Live album. Nothing Safe has all the songs that are on the Greatest Hits CD except one plus 4 more. Nothing Safe also has a variety of great songs in different versions, like Rooster is Live, We Die Young is an unreleased demo version, and one of there songs is off of MTV Unplugged, there is also an unlisted track off Dirt but it's not really a song.Buy this CD.
Free Music Review: Fitting tribute to one of the greatest bands ever

Though I own all the Alice in Chains albums, this one is the one that rarely leaves my car stereo. Every song here is awe-inspiring. Starting things off with Get Born Again, one of my favorite AIC songs ever, this album takes you through so much emotion. I remember what a gift this band was back in the 90s when I was that awkward, angry kid in high school who needed someone who understood. There will never be another AIC, and this CD is testament to that. Do yourself a huge favor and pick this up. If it hits you the same way it does me, I guarantee you'll pick up the other AIC albums as well.
