Free Music Notes for Nothing SafeFree Music Review: The real "best of" Alice in Chains Hit: 5 Stars
So often, "best of" CD's fall far short of that claim. And the (formerly released) "best of" Alice in Chains is no exception. This collection is, for my money, the real "best of" for this group. If you're other than a die hard fan who would want to own their whole collection, buy this compilation and forget or sell the rest. Every cut is a winner. Together, they portray the breadth and depth of this group's styles, lyrics and originality. I regularly rotate my Cd's, but it will be a long time before I'm ready to part with this one.
Free Music Review: Great CD Hit: 5 Stars
Alice In Chains did what few bands can, they were able to put out music that crossed over to different genres. They were hard enough to please Hard Rock and Metal fans but were still sad enough and incorporated enough meaning to appeal to Grunge fans which were the two main genres in the 90's not only that but they were also good musicians, which can't be said for all bands and because of that no one will ever come close to being as good as they were. This is a great CD and I highly recommend it and all the other Alice In Chains CD's.
Free Music Review: awsome, just simply great... Hit: 5 Stars
If your new to alice in chains for a starter get "nothing safe" a great album with 15 songs that are off facelift, dirt, and there self titled album. you get into such tunes as man in the box(one of my favorite aic songs) rooster live. and also one of my favorites I stay away. Free Music Review: Thank God it's out! Hit: 5 Stars
I was so psyched when I heard that this album was coming out, and when I bought it, I was glad I did! This has some of AIC's best songs, and I can listen to it over and over again. I find it to be the kind of CD you want to listen to when you want to rock out. It's awesome. If you even mildly like Alice In Chains, check this out, because you get to hear some of their best stuff without having to buy all their CD's. Go for it, man!
Free Music Review: Truly "The Best of the Box"! Hit: 5 Stars
This is as close as it gets to a greatest hits album for one of the best Seattle bands around. This album features great live versions of "Rooster" and "Got me Wrong" as well as other AIC classics such as "Down in a Hole" and "Would?". Anyone who enjoys Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, or Candlebox will LOVE this album. Get it as soon as possible.
