Free Music Review: The missing track

This is an excellent album - opening with Harlem's Nocturne - showing how arpegios really can flow in classical music - it winds into a complete tornado of music immitating a rain storm in the city streets.
Next we go into Karma which isn't one of my favorites as it lacks her profund talent in her classical music talents dusted with her Neo - Soul style - still she continues to stretch classical music with the violins supporting this song - very nice touch indeed.
Heartburn heavily resembles Hot lunch from the Fame album - listen to the two - their like musical cousins at the same time she shares the same melody of "Give it to me" the hot papa rap song as performed by Jay Z.
If I was your Woman - is the best remake of Gladys Knights power song - she didn't over make it and respected it for the fine piece that it is.
You Don't know my name - again is not one of my favorites but it works here - again Alicia shows her true talent in ballad type songs lightly dusted by her piano no how and powerful lungs.
If I Aint' Got you - is one of the most powerful songs I've heard - she really proved her maturity level here in age and in her piano playing skills - if you listen to the live or unplugged version - you see how she improvised a lot of the keystrokes in key changing - the song unfolds to the very end - thank you for giving it a solid ending instead of fading out like Most Artist may do (urrrrrrrghhhhh)
Diary is a beautiful song and like a Diary is well kept secret musically speaking - if you are a musician - get the sheet music and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
I'll skip down to Feeling you - Feeling me - this song really images Remy Shands work - see B. Another Neo - Soul artist that know his stuff - Listen to "The Mind's Eye" (album Title: The Way I Feel) towards the end and you'll understnad what I mean - Feeling you Feeling me should have been at least a full range song and not to tease us as an Interlude - still the same that's what makes us coming back for more. Added comment is Remy Shand and Alicia should really team up on an album - at least one hit.......can I get an 'Amen' if you agree with me.
Nobody Not Really - perfect way to end the Album BUT GUESS WHAT - IT'S NOT THE END OF THE ALBUM THERE IS A BONUS TRACK CALLED: LOVING U - yes, a bonus track - a great modificaion of Natural Woman - she jack slaps this song and brings great tribute to Neo-Soul - and invests real music - real talent - real musicians back into the music industry - no manufactured music through out this entire album - if you're sick of Rap like me - support Alicia and her workings......

Had Alicia released the Diary like this it would have been a classic:
Intro- great intro to the album
Karma- love the music and lyrics
Heartburn - reminds me of 70's funk
If I was your woman - excellent cover
You don't know my name - great mix of vocals, music, and samples
If I ain't got you - beautiful
Diary- great song
Nobody not really- excellent album closer
The Diary shouldve been an 8 song EP and it wouldve been a classic soul album. Tracks 8-14 just cant sustain the album.

I have never listened to a cd more than i listened to this one. The songs are amazing before I've never really cared much about Alica Keys until one day I decided to try it out. The opening song of Harlem's Nocture has buetifully played notes,Karma an all time hit song right now! Heartburn's impressive drums and bass guitar sounds make you wanting for more .These are just some of Alicia Key's fantastic talent of singing and playing the piano. She is now one of my favorite celebrites and role models also and I even considered taking up playing the piano.I can't wait to get Alicia Key's new album MTV Unplugged!Free Music Review: TRU R&B ARTIST!!

When Alicia Keys came out..I was a alwayz a fan of her. Both of her albums are the greatest and if your a true R&B fan you shoud at least have 1 of her cdz!!
Harlem's Nocturne- Good interlude..Kinda reminds me of the Songs in a Minor album intro.. N/A
Karma- At first this song has a GREAT beat and the lyrics are hot but after it became it too popular it got boring...but i still give it da same score i thought it should be 9/10
Heartburn- The song is HOT!! The drums are a GREAT add-on to the song. Alicia was smart to compare heartburn to lovin someone..haha!! 9.5/10
If I Was Your Woman/Walk On By- At the first verse..I was like umm...this kinda sux but after a while I started really feeling her lyrics and beat. 8/10
You Don't Know My Name- When I first heard this I was like OMG this song is REALLY HOT!! Cuz it's a great a song and is has a storyline to it as well...9.5/10
If I Ain't Got You- This is probably the hottest song she has EVER made since Fallin'!!!! I don't even care how many times i listen to it..I still LOVE IT!!! 11/10!
Diary- This song is really good when your into slow songs. But if you listen to the whole Cd and suddenly go to a slow song its kinda bad but its still good. Tony Toni Tone was really awesome as well. 8/10
Dragon Days- A lot of people really like this song but I'm not into the beat. The lyrics are tight but the beat doesn't really match the meaning of her words. (The gutair is good though haha) 7.5/10
Wake Up- This song really stands out in the album. The vocals and beat really mix together and really speaks her mind on this one. 9/10
So Simple- At first I was like um..this doesn't sound good...but after 10 seconds I was like OMG this is tight!! haha! But, this song is really hot. It really shows her emtions in this one. 10/10
When You Really Love Someone- I don't know why but this song kinda reminds me a mix of Fallin' and A Woman's Worth. It even has the same concept too. HAHA! 8.5/10
Feeling U, Feeling Me- Interlude..Really Good N/A
Slow Down- This song os ok i guess..it reminds me of Dragon Days..The lyrics REALLY speak out but the slow beat just doesn't match. 7.5/10
Samsonite Man- O My Gosh this is one of the hottest songs in this album!! It really talks bout just kickin that damn man out!!! HAHA!! 10/10
Nobody Not Really- At first I was like what? this is an interlude? cuz i really thought this was a song for a sec lol probably the best interlude in the cd! N/A

alicia Keys has a knock out voice. It is amazing and her piano skils? Alicia is the best!!! My top five are:
1 You don't know my name (sweet, romantic and i can relate)
2 Karma (great piano)
3 Diary (Awesome piano, awesome voice!!!)
4 Dragon days (The lyrics were nice)
5 So simple (Hip tune)
Now she has a new CD out. I'm going to buy it and write a review on that.
