I love this record, and I love the fact that Alison and the guys know where there talent lies. They never pretend to be something they're not. Any record of theirs is going to be your favorite. There is not a song on this record that I don't like. If you like this one, try their new one "A Hundred Miles or More". Same goes for that one. Very few singers in my experience are as good as Alison, so if you want to listen to music at it's purist, this is the record for you.Free Music Review: The BEST there is!

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said, if your new to Alison Krauss and Union Station, it just doesn't get any better than this, this is the BEST vocal, Bluegrass band in the world, bar none and this is a terrific disc!, start to finish there are no weak spots, her vocals continue to astound me, her pitch and presentation are flawless, and Union Station, how does one describe a perfect sound?, impossible!, but yet here it is! I have been listening to Ms. Krauss' music for years and I honestly believe that this is the best album from Alison Krauss and Union Station ever! I just got this CD for Christmas 3 days ago and can sing along to every song already. In my opinion, "Goodbye Is All We Have" is the best I've heard from Alison yet. Her voice is fluid and melodic!
Alison, You are my hero. I want to sing like you! :D

Immaculately produced album filled with incredible bluegrass songs. The title track is wonderful and there are no weak tracks. Alison's voice is way stronger than on the live set but that's to be expected.
This band brings total, deserved respectability to the bluegrass genre. If you enjoyed the Oh Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack you'll love this. The Gillian Welch tune is a nice addition.
A Great album for anyone.

A nicely balanced cd with Alison Krauss beautiful voice which keeps on growing with time. I even find Dan Tyminski sounds like Ralph Stanley which is a compliment. I also bought So long, so wrong from AKUS which is simular and this album doesn't differ al to much. Still it is a Bluegrass concept that never bores me. The happy bluegrass melodies coincide with sad heart breaking songs. This is a must buy even if you are not a fan!
