Free Music Notes for A Hundred Miles or More: A CollectionFree Music Review: She is an angel Hit: 5 StarsWhat can I say. I was turned onto Alison by my friend Samwise Gamgee and I have never been disappointed!. This new album is another gem. I've seen her in concert many times now and if you like the best add her to your collection.
Free Music Review: Allison Hit: 5 StarsI bought this CD because I enjoy Alison Krauss. However, my wife, who wasn't familiar with this artist, plays this CD over and over, and over. She loves it even more than I do. I definitely recommend this one.
Free Music Review: Her BEST Work Ever! Hit: 5 StarsThis was the first c.d. I had purchased by Alison Kraus. It's an eclectic, mesmerizing blend of pop, bluegrass, celtic, and country. After the first 100 times of listening to it, I decided to purchase every other c.d. put out by Alison Kraus/Union Station. Her music makes me so happy. But I think this album is her best work so far.
Free Music Review: Love it through & through Hit: 5 StarsI like this so much better than "Raising Sand". It is Alison Krause as I know and love her, with a few twists, like the two duets with John Waite, and the ones with James Taylor and Brad Paisley. A tiny bit of country, with quite of bit of Celtic, and mostly Bluegrass. Really nice listening; I like every song.
Free Music Review: Angelic Voice Hit: 5 StarsGood collection of songs. Some are released on other projects, and new material that has never been recorded. My favorite songs are "Sawing on the Strings," and her duet with John Waite, "Lay Down Beside Me."
I have seen Alison in concert numerous times.
