Free Music Review: An incredible talent!
Hit: 5 Stars

I've been a fan of Alison Krauss, but this is the first CD of hers that I've owned. I wasn't sure what to expect -- what I've found is that this work is absolutely beautiful. The songwriting, the instrumentals, and, of course, Alison's voice -- what gifts these artists have! The heartbreaking story told in "Jacob's Dream" brings to mind Dolly Parton's great songwriting -- and if Alison's recording of this song doesn't move you, nothing will. My other favorites are "Molly Ban" (haunting but beautiful), "How's The World Treating You" (a duet with James Taylor), and "The Scarlet Tide."

This cd is excellent!! We listen to it every time we go anywhere in our car and we are always cranking it up too!!! It is very motivating and makes you want to get up and dance to some of the songs. It has alot of good jazzy type songs on it and we would recommend it to anyone who wants a very good cd to listen to. My husband didn't know who Allison was til he heard this cd and now he loves her and her songs. If you believe in God, buy the CD!!!!A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection

Free Music Review: Another 5 stars for Alison and Union Station
Hit: 5 Stars

I have followed the career of Alison Krauss since she was around 15 years old. I saw her in person a couple times at appearances she made at that young age here in Massachusetts. She was phenomenal back then and still is to this day. She has an unbelievable voice, and her playing is equally as good. Her band, Union Station, is also top shelf - some extremely talented musicians. This album, as all of hers in the past (I have every album she has put out) is oustanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good, wholesome music!

Free Music Review: Love it ...
Hit: 5 Stars

I love Alison Krauss and have all her CD's. This one is a great addition - some new songs and some old favorites! I used to sing "Baby Mine" to my now 13-year old when I rocked her to sleep at night - what wonderful memories it has brought back! I first heard the song in the Disney movie "Dumbo" that she used to watch and then I'd sing it to her all the time. We've really enjoyed listening to that song again - I had not heard it in years. Don't hesitate to buy this if you like Alison - you won't be disappointed :)

Free Music Review: A Collection of Beautiful Gems
Hit: 5 Stars

Alison Krauss sings like an angel and this collection flows beautifully together one song after another. I have never had a CD where I could say I love every song on it. After listening to it I had to buy one for my daughter-in-law and mother-in-law so I could share this beautiful collection of songs with them. My daughter-in-law had heard only one song "Down to the River to Pray" from the movie "Brother, Where Art Thou" but after listening to this CD has become a real fan of Alison Krauss. How can you not?
