Alison Krauss is in a word, breathtaking. Her music is simply some of the best that there is. She makes you feel as if you can feel exactly where she is taking you when she sings. I've been a fan of hers for a long time and I can't ever say enough about how truly remarkable her work is. She is a very credit to the music industry.
She transcends the meaning of the word, "Diva" and makes listening to her music like a concert in your car, living room or wherever you turn her on.

I had never heard of Alison Krauss until last year -- after falling in love with "When you say nothing at all" on a radio station, I bought this album on impulse. For an entire month I listened to nothing else! Her voice is entracing, the music both uplifting and contemplative. A must have for fans of meaningful music with beautiful melodies. The last track on this album (When You Say Nothing At All) was recently featured in the feature film "The Other Sister".Free Music Review: Bought it for one song loved the whole album

After hearing "when you say nothing at all" being played on the radio I rushed out and bought the C.D because my fiance and I just had to have it played at our wedding dance, it is such a wonderful song I still get choked up when I hear it today and we've been married for 3 1/2 years. But not only is that song terrific but I really enjoy thr whole album, Alison has a voice like no other it's very soothing and comforting, I love to listen to it when I'm feeling stressed out !Free Music Review: Something for everyone

My brother just got married and there were people of all ages, from all around the country at there. This CD was one of several that was played frequently. I love it - but I like bluegrass and country music. Even the New Yorkers like Alison. I don't know how she does it - but if I were to pick one CD that appealed to everyone, this would be it. Alison Krause has a way of taking a song and making it uniquely her own. The Beattle's song "I Will" and Bad Company's "Oh Atlanta are two examples. She makes the songs her own. The beautiful "Palm Of Your Hand" will bring tears to your eyes with the emotion in which it is sung. I feel Alison is one of the best singers I have ever heard and is personally one of my favorite female singers and this CD is wonderful.
