Flawless playing, every song a portrait, I catch myself dialing it in no matter what mood I'm in. Ms. Kraus' singing is awe-inspiring, the harmonies from US are irresistable. The only things that this album has going for it are authentic bluegrass and country sound, superb musicianship, and the finest voice singing today. (Oh yeh, Krauss has impeccable taste in songwriters too.)Listening to it, we may overlook just how good her "boys" are, but obviously Krauss never does.

The music transcends all boundaries and should have won best album of any kind--and I am not a bluegrass fan either. This is the first CD I purchased by Alison Krauss and it is perfect. There's alot of fun on this album and alot of sad songs as well but it is very worth the purchase! If you enjoy good 90's bluegrass, this is the album for you. Alison's voice will particularly grab you. It did me.
