Free Music Notes for Move AlongFree Music Review: Ah, Yeah Hit: 5 Stars
Haha, sweet. This cd is great. I didn't think the Rejects could pull it off again. I assumed their first cd would have showcased all of their talent, but not by a long shot. They were extremely wise to spread their strongest songs throughout this album, making it very easy to listen to all the way through. So many cd's have a strong beginning, and after track five lose their steam. This album avoids that by intermixing some of their b-level tracks between some of their greatest songs (we know all cd's have those tracks, it's how they use those tracks that makes a cd amazing). Move Along is probably the best song the Rejects have made so far. If you are a Rejects fan, then your money is well spent on this effort. If you are new to the Rejects (i.e. lived in a tiny cave in the middle of Wyoming), check out their first cd and understand their roots. You'll appreciate this amazing effort so much more.
Free Music Review: Seconds Please! Hit: 5 Stars
First of all, inside the cover where the lyrics are supposed to be, there was sure lyrics, but they were done in a unique way that i have never seen before. They were actualy notes and pieces of paper that they wrote on while creating the songs themselves. Not all the lyrics are there, and they jump around sometimes... but it is something that any true AAR fan would enjoy to see.
All the songs are very well written and none of the songs sound repetitive or like one another (unlike bands liek teh offspring). The lyrics are full and meaningful in the song. THis album is absolutely a great sophomore album for these guys. Personally, I've been awaiting their 2nd album for so long and when it arrived i can say that i had no dissapointments! Im addicted to this album, and if you listen to some of it... im sure you will too!
Free Music Review: Love at first listen... Hit: 5 Stars
I was hooked on the first CD, despite the fact that I really noly liked one or two songs (the rest of them were okay, but "Swing, Swing" and "One More Sad Song" were the best) I bought the CD the day it came out (naturally), and was swept along by the first track as it was so similar in it's addicting beat to Swing, Swing...I was thrilled. The next few songs play, and I'm flipping out. I had honestly expected just a few good songs...but heck, there are so many good ones! "Dance Inside," "Top of the World", "Night Drive," and "Move Along" are just a few great ones...they all rock to high heaven! I've put ITunes on repeat, just so i can listen again and again as I go about my work.
So, if you haven't gotten this CD yet, it's really worth the investment! Two thumbs up!

Free Music Review: A mature development Hit: 5 Stars
I have to admit that while I really liked All-American Reject's first album, I felt something was lacking and as a result they were not in my top ten bands. The new album is a great development from their last, their music has matured without loosing the essence of AAR and they have explored more different sounds to add to each song. Each track is no longer a repetitive collection of riffs, more like a collection of riffs highlighted with various additional instruments to create a more melodic collection.
If I could, I'd give them a pat on the back for their progress. This is definitely something you want to buy if you are already a fan of AAR or if you are in to Panic! At The Disco, The Rocket Summer and Fall Out Boy, among many others.
