Free Music Review: This album will crush you like a tank

Not a single word can't even describe how much I love this album, I mean everything about it is absolutely mindblowing. I enjoyed All Shall Perish's 2005 debut album "Hate, Malice, Revenge", which was no doubt a killer album, I love it alot, but however their latest scorcher from 2006 "The Price of Existence" blows that album right out of the water, and it's also one of the best metal albums of 2006 as well. This album is just like an onsluaght from hell and like I said before, it will definately crush you like a tank from start to finish. Aside from the instrumental Track 7 "Greyson", "The Price of Existence" is an all out vicious onslaught of sick insane vocals, earth shaking guitar riffs, devastating breakdowns, and sick, fast jackhammer like blast beats, and double bass kicks that will definately please the true metalhead, and there's even some gang shouts on a few songs too. On this album the band even has a new lineup including new vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and new lead guitarist Chris Storey. The vocals from Eddie are just absolutely sick and vicious on here. He can go from brutal death growls that sound like a beast being awaken from it's slumber to savage killer shrieks that will make your ears bleed. Guitarists Ben Orum and new lead shredder Chris Storey (who I mentioned earlier) deliver an ever so vicious onslaught of heavy earth shaking riffs, shredding leads that will make you head spin and some great solos courtesy of Chris including on songs such as "Eradication", "Prisoner of War", "Better Living Through Catastrophe", and "The Last Relapse". The rhythm section of bassist Mike Tiner and drummer Matt Kuykendall is just absolutely unstoppable on here. Mike has great audible bass lines, and Matt's drumming is insane yet incredible. "Eradication" is a great fast heavy opener that gets the ball rolling within a matter of seconds, and the solo by Chris is just awesome. Other heavy brutal scorchers on here including "Wage Slaves" and "The True Beast" feature some brutal gang shouts that will get your fists pumping. Another favorite song on here and my personal favorite "Prisoner of War" features some catchy punching riffs, a lengthy solo from Chris, and an addicting double bass drum beat near the end. Every song on this album is a winner in my book. Bottom Line: This album is no doubt one of the best metal albums of 2006, and I guarantee that All Shall Perish are going to be around for a very long time. If you thought Slipknot were heavy, this band and this album will just crush you like a tank. There is no doubt that these guys are the future of modern death metal. Overall highly recommended for fans of Skinless, Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Despised Icon, The Red Chord, Converge, or any fan of extreme heavy music, buy this album now, I guarantee you'll love it. All Shall Perish Rules!!
