I'm only up to track 7 so far and I bought it earlier today at around noon.
You're probably thinking...how come I've only listened to 7 tracks in about 8 hours? Because I cannot skip to the next one.
Whenever I buy a new album and a find a song I like I usually listen to it over and over. Every track on this album is like this.
Their new style is a lot better than The Fall Of Ideals (which is a great album) because there is more variety in Phil's Voice. He still has that growl, but he explores more singing styles in this release. Before ATR sounded like they screamed the verses and sung the choruses with clean vocals in every song. But now that entire formula is in a blender.
Oli Herbert's solos in this album (so far) aren't as good as the ones he played in The Fall Of Ideals, but they are sufficient enough.
Best songs so far:
1) Two Weeks
2) A Song For The Hopeless
3) Forever In Your Hands
4) Undone
Chiron and Before The Damned are excellent, but not as good as the others. Days Without is pretty generic and is the weakest song so far but it's still good.
This style is a lot better for this band.
