Free Music Notes for So Wrong, It's Right AlbumFree Music Review: 3 and 1/2 stars please! Hit: 3 Stars
I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could, because to me 3 stars is pretty mediocre but 4 is a shade off great. This falls between the two.
I liked Put Up or Shut Up, but I always had this feeling like All Time Low is exactly what people love or hate about Pop Punk: upbeat songs that sound kind of similar and don't really say much or make you feel much.
All Time Low has some things going for them: they have good voices, some catchy sounds, but unfortunately, nothing stands out as great. Holly (Would You Turn Me On) is fun, but you walk away from the album feeling that these guys could never become great at this rate. There's simply too many bands who have that intangible quality that All Time Low lacks. In a sports analogy, they are like the players who play for a number of years but never become a starter or a star, just sticking around by being good enough to be average.
Buy this and you will enjoy the energy, but it'll only serve as a pacifying bridge until your next anticipated punk release comes out.
