Free Music Review: Best Allman Brothers Album
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the best Allman Brothers Greatest Hits album. Although most of the songs are from 20, 25 years ago i went to one of their concerts last week and they played the majority of songs on THIS album. A must have. Better then Fillmore East. It captures The Dickie Bettts hits(Ramblin Man, Blue Sky, Jessica, ect.)and one of the few songs written by the great Dwaine Allman(Little Martha) and other great songs such as Melissa, One Way Out, Southbound and the list goes on. A must buy for Allman fans. LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL!

Free Music Review: You MUST own this CD!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is a must have for anyone who's even remotely an Allman Bros fan. While there may be a few really hardcore fans who are sick of the songs on this release, most fans will tell you that any collection of Allmans' material should begin with this album. Every song on this CD is incredibly good. There are a few songs that aren't included on this album - No One to Run With, Mountain Jam, Trouble No More, etc - but there are enough that ARE included to keep this CD at a 5 star rating.

Free Music Review: A really good collection
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a really, really good collection of the Allman Brothers band. You get all of their best stuff from the late 60's and through all of the 70's you get all of the great guitar work played by Duane and Dickey, you get the great vocals and Keyboards by Greg. You cant go wrong with this, it has so many great songs. If you ask me ABB are the best southern rock band of all time. But you should really get the albums but if you cant afford to get them all then this is a great substatute.

Free Music Review: Holy Crapzkies!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Every time I play this album I thank God for blessing this planet with the Allman Bros.
I'm serious. "Ain't Wastin Time No More".....I mean, c'mon.... An instant summer day!!!
Midnight Rider....Blue Sky... This album is just an insane, clean, and wonderful experience. Play it loud and let the music flow in your ears, into you soul, your blood, and into your heart....

You will never get tired of this CD....Just get it already......Great. Thanks.

Free Music Review: Belongs on Every Rock Fan's Shelf
Hit: 5 Stars

Good stuff. "Jessica" is not as important to me as when I first heard it, mostly because of overplay on shlock rock radio stations. Although the band could jam with the best of them, they are at their best on shorter tracks such as "Blue Sky" and "Rambling Man," where the wonderful guitar playing benefits from single-edit-length crispness. You can't find a more beautiful Southern rock song than "Melissa," indeed, there are few songs as beautiful in any genre.
