Free Music Review: A Great Album for Fans of Ally McBeal or Anybody!

Another great album of the Ally McBeal collection. The 1st album reflected the innocence and beginning of Ally's character. The 2nd album had more of a sad self-reflection side (but still comforting and optimistic) of Ally during the 2nd season. This 3rd album brings the new, rejuvenated side of Ally in the 3rd and 4th seasons. The collaboration with other artists and Robert Downey, Jr. make this a great album because it gives a new "flavor" compared to the previous 2 albums. Sadly, this is the last CD of the Ally McBeal collection (cancelled the show after the 5th season) but this CD will bring the great memories back of the show or for those who didn't see the show a great collection of remakes (some better than the original) about love.(Being an Ally McBeal fan...let's hope somehow Ally can come back, not only the TV series but it's great music!)

What a great collection of great talent. Vonda Shepard-wonderful voice as always. Robert Downey Jr.-Ahhh! What can I say? He is amazingly talented in so many avenues. His song "Snakes" written and performed by Downey is just breathtaking. His beautiful voice resonates soulfully. What a wonderful bonus to this CD. Sting with Robert Downey Jr. on "Every Breath You Take" is a refreshing reminder of a great song. Vonda and Robert on "Chances Are"-What a lovely combination of two extremely talented vocalists. Vonda Shepard singing "Reason To Believe" takes me back to my Rod Stewart era, superbly done. Barry White, Tina Turner, and Al Green-The talent behind their names says it all! Over all I would say this is one great collection. "Chances Are" this will be a huge hit!Free Music Review: Downey, Shepard = Divine!

In the editorial review, the writer complained about Downey's "raspy" voice; however, his voice is what makes the album great! Downey's and Shepard's duet rendition of Chances Are is the most memorable track on the album. Also of note is a song written and performed by Downey himself: Snakes. Despite his trouble with his addiction, this man's talent cannot be denied or ignored. His performance alone makes this album worth buying.Also worth mentioning are Shepard's vocals in Alone Again (Naturally) and For Once in My Life. Every time I play them, I like them more. Shepard's voice is so distinguished; one can't help but enjoy the melancholic lyrics she sings.
This is definitely the best Ally McBeal CD released to date. Don't miss it!

I had pre-ordered this CD after hearing Vonda Shepard and Robert Downey Jr. sing Chances Are during an Ally McBeal episode. The CD has more than lived up to my expectations! The entire album is wonderful. I particularly enjoyed hearing Robert Downey Jr's. song "Snakes", as this is the first time his own work has been recorded. He is incredibly talented, and Vonda Shepard did a great job producing. The version of Chances Are is phenomenal. I hope Vonda & RDJ have a chance to perform more duets in the future. Their voices blend wonderfully. It was great to hear Barry White's song as well, after he's been featured so often in the show. Again, a GREAT CD, and a MUST BUY for Ally McBeal and/or Robert Downey Jr. fans!Free Music Review: Pefect for any fan of Ally

I am the ultimate fan of Ally Mcbeal because I identify so much with the characters and themes. The music of the show plays a major role in the storyline and gives the show something distinctive and different, making it memorable. If you love the show, you will love this C.D. because each song hits on Ally's differing moods and stages of her unbelieveable life. The music is wonderful, has other famous voices like Sting and Tina Turner, and each song reminds you of a different episode. Barry White and John, Ally and Larry...singing on the piano.. "chances are"..that one is my favorite. This CD is fantastic...good for all moods and all fans of the show. Support Vonda. Buy it.sincerely,
