My mom, kids & I went to see the movie--a must see. It brought back many memories & was very funny. We all enjoyed it, thus I purchased the soundtrack. The kids have been bouncing around the house & I use it to exercise too as well. The kids favorite is track 5. They had never heard of the chipmunks. I bought this item to replace one that had been stolen from my son's car. It is for my year old grandson who loves music and laughs everytime he hears this cd. Good quality sound.
When my son told me it had been stolen, Amazon was the first place I looked to replace it and was so happy when I found it! I placed the order and was surprised how speedy the delivery was.

I had never heard of Alvin and the Chipmunks prior to seeing the new movie. Now i've seen it 4 times and listened to the soundtrack almost 10 times. I can't get enough of it. This soundtrack features all the songs in the movie as well as more and while a couple aren't so great the rest are. Everyone should give this a try, its got great variety and sounds amazing.Free Music Review: Squeaky voices are surprisingly good

The squeaky voices of the "chipmunks" are surprisingly entertaining and addictive. My wife and I couldn't stop humming the "Christmas" and "Witch Doctor" songs for weeks after seeing the movie. However, there is a wide variety of songs, not all of which are as good. I'd recommend just download the songs you like, rather than getting the whole album.Free Music Review: Alviiiiiiiiinnnnnnn!!!! this movie is the best cd i've ever seen. one day i heard it at sam goody was the best. i still cant decide which munk (tehe!) i like most, except that i know that theodore needs to lose some wait. seriously, ted, take a leaf out of beary manilow's book! you can't be successful without a good voice AND great looks! like beary manilow.
