What The World Needs Now - I love this one. Its a great preformance. Everyone sound great. (i love the julie "one" part)

Superstar - Ruben never fails to amaze me with his wonderful voice. I think its Ruben's best performance.

On The Wings Of Love - Now, I don't like Clay, but I have to admit he has a great voice. The song is not one of my favorites (i only like the chorus) but he sounds really good.

At Last - I was so suprised to hear Julia singing this. She sounds so different (and way better) from when she was on the show. Its weird that a lot of the contestants sound way better in the studio than on stage. A good performance.

Three Times A Lady - I like Josh. He has a good voice, but I hate this song. Its the worst song choice of the enitre CD. I listened to it once, and then skipped it the other 100 times I listened to the CD. I wish he would of picked a different song.

Let's Stay Together - Trenyce sounds the best out of everyone on this CD. Its the perfect song for her. I love it.

Back At One - My favorite song on the CD. Like Julia, Rickey sounds way better on this CD. He sings good. The best track on the CD. Great.

Killing Me Soflty With His Song - I'm not very fond of this song. Kim sings good, I just don't like the song.

Open Arms - I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but the first time I heard this, I thought it was Kim C. I had to look on the back of the CD to figure out who it was. After the second time, Corey sounded pretty good. Not one of my favorites.

How Do I Live - I admit that I'm a fan of Carmen. I hate it when people say she can't sing, because she can. She sounds really good singing this. I personally love her voice, and think she sound really good. I think she's the "Nikki McKibbin" of season 2- a lot of people dissed her, but she sounded great. They were both very under-estimated.

Over The Rainbow - I love Kimberely Locke, but she needs to give up on "Over the Rainbow" She sounds really good singing it, but its played out.

Overjoyed - Charles was amazing. I like it better by him than by Stevie Wonder. He picked a great song and sounded great. He should've been in the competition longer.

I'm kinda upset that Vanessa wasn't on the CD. How come everyone except her was on it? That's so unfair.

'What the World Needs Now is Love'-(4/5)this is a very good song showing that the American Idols have good harmony together.

'Superstar'-(3/5) sorry but I was not a real Ruben fan, and he says baby 23 times in this song which is pretty annoying.

'On The Wings of Love'-(5/5) My favorite Idol. Clay just has an amazing voice and this is a great song for his first recorded song. Cannot wait for his debut cd!

'At Last'-(2/5) Julia could have picked a better song for her voice. I only listen to it because i like the lyrics.

'Three Times a Lady'-(5/5) One of the surprises of this cd. Once Josh got rid of the country style singing, he is actually a good singer, which really surprised me!

'Let's Stay Together'-(4/5)Trenyce sang this song for her wildcard performance, she did a better job on the cd. Very well done.

'Back at One'-(4/5) I used to think that Rickey's voice got annoying when it was really high, but i can listen to this song over and over again!

'Killing Me Softly With His Song'-(4/5) Kim C. did pretty good on this song, i like the lyrics to this song.

'Open Arms'-(5/5)If Corey was not disqualified, he would have made it very far, i only wished that Clay would have sang Open Arms, but Corey did very well with it.

'How Do I Live (Without You)'-(5/5) WHERE DID CARMEN LEARN TO SING!?!?!?! I had to look twice to see that the cd case said this was Carmen singing. Very well done! If she sang like this on the show, she would have went farther. And again i just have to say WOW!

'Over The Rainbow'-(5/5) My other favorite Idol. I used to watch the Wizard of Oz when I was little because it is my mom's favorite movie. I like when Kim L. sings it better than Judy Garland. It's more jazzy. I still have my fingures crossed that there will be a Kim Locke cd coming out sometime.

'Overjoyed'-(4/5) Charles was a very good singer, we just couldn't see all that he could do, seeing he was the 2nd one voted off.

'God Bless the USA'(5/5) I like this version better than the original. As i said above about What the world needs Now is Love, the Idols have good Harmony. I was so happy that this was #1 on the hot 100 chart.

This is a very good cd, i just wished that Vanessa Got to be on this cd, she is one of the finalists. Any American Idol Fan, or any person that likes love songs should get this cd, one of the best there is.

WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW IS LOVE (Top 10) - Good track, good idea to release for charity. The vocals are tight, and all blend well together, and I love it! (4/5)

SUPERSTAR Ruben Studdard - Ruben sang it, so of course it's good!! Very good vocals, another consistent song from our favorite Ruuuuben! My only problem is the intro is way too long... let's just get right to Ruben. (5/5)

ON THE WINGS OF LOVE Clay Aiken - Clay sang it, so of course it's good! He has a good voice, no doubt about it. This song is no exception > very good performance! (5/5)

AT LAST Julia DeMato - When I first heard this I was like "WHO IS THIS?!! JULIA?!?! NO WAY!!" It sounds nothing like her! On the show, I wasn't a big fan of hers (I was until the show was live) she didn't seem to pull off the songs well. But this song is actually not bad!! I love her vocals! She'd be a good recording artist! (4/5)

THREE TIMES A LADY Joshua Gracin - Good song. Doesn't really use his "country-style" vocals on this one. Shows his skills! (4/5)

LET'S STAY TOGETHER Trenyce - I wish she would have picked another song more suited for her voice. She did a good rendition of this one, but not as good as some of her other ones. (4/5)

BACK AT ONE Rickey Smith - Not as good as I would have thought. Vocals are okay, but not as captivating like on the show (3/5)

KILLING ME SOFTLY Kimberly Caldwell - Not being biased because Kim was my personal favorite, but she did really well. It displayed more of the upper-octave range in her voice. Good choice for her! (5/5)

OPEN ARMS Corey Clark - TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY!! He sang this one REALLY good! I wasn't really a fan of his on the show, but this song proves he can sure sing! (5/5)

HOW DO I LIVE Carmen Rasmusen - TERRIBLE! She doesn't have a good recording voice at all. Sounds much better live. The only good thing is on this song her out of control vibrato is removed. (1/5)

OVER THE RAINBOW Kimberley Locke - Totally disappointed. Her live version was MUCH better. PS Is this a love song? (2/5)

OVERJOYED Charles Grigsby - Definetly shows he was one of the best voices out of the group! (4/5)

GOD BLESS THE USA (Top 10) - Not as powerful and captivating as I thought. Very plain. (2/5)

Overall - 5/5
Must have for any American Idol fan.

Free Music Review: A few surprises...

1- On The Wings of Love - beautiful! 1,000,000 stars. Aiken has the greatest voice I've ever heard. So far I've enjoyed his live performances on AI more than the recorded versions, though. I hope the folks at RCA will realize that it is Clay's voice we want to hear and that we want him to sing songs his way and will not try to change him in anyway whatsoever. They cannot improve perfection!

2- Superstar (1 of 5) - I would give this 0 stars except for the fact that he can sing in pitch. This song is dreadful! Ruben sounds the same on every song he sings usually but this one is just horrible!

3- At Last - Julia DeMato (5 of 5) - what a wonderful surprise this one is! What a brilliant song choice for Julia. Judging by this song, she should have been in the top two.

4- Three Times A Lady - Joshua Gracin - (3 of 5) - Josh did very well on this one, I only give it three stars, though, as I am not very fond of his voice.

5- Let's Stay Together - Trenyce - I love this song but not by Trenyce!

6-Back at One - Rickey Smith - cannot rate this one as I do not like Rickey's style or voice, but he seemed like a really nice guy.

7- Killing Me Softly With His Song - Kimberly Caldwell (3 of 5) - Kim got off to a bad start with me and it was hard to see past her personality. However, this is the best I've heard her. This was another surprise on this cd.

8- Open Arms - Corey Clark - (-10 of 5)when this song started I couldn't imagine who was singing! I have to pull a Simon on this one - Corey is possibly the worst singer I've ever heard.

9- How Do I Live - Carmen Rasmusen - I love this one! (5 of 5) Carmen is such a beautiful and delighful young woman and her voice is so unique. I wish I could buy more by her as I'm really going to miss her now that AI-2 is over. I wish I had recorded all the shows so I would have more of her to listen to. Her version *Turn the Beat Around* was superb!

10- Over The Rainbow - Kimberley Locke - (1 of 5) - during the show Kim had some good performances but this song is dreadful. Her voice is too deep and she oversings it.

11- Overjoyed! (4 of 5) - Charles did great on this one! I hope he goes far!

I know I rated several very low but the cd is worth the cost just to hear Clay, Juila and Carmen.

1. God Bless the USA- I'm not into country...but they did do an overall decent job..3/5
2. What the World Needs now- I wish that the finalists would do better group songs as they did in the other 2 shows...but i gotta give them props because they can sing...2.5/5
3. Superstar - Ruben- I was never a fan of his on the show...but he does an ok job...4/5
4. On the Wings of Love- Clay Aiken- I don't think i found a mistake in this whole song...it was great...too bad he didn't win the show...one of the best on the cd and of all the shows 5/5
5. At Last- Julia DeMato- She does not at all sound like herself on the show....in this case this is a good thing...she even, in my opinion, beat out ruuuuuuuuuben! 4/5
6. 3 times a lady- Josh Gracin- not a very good song for him to sing...even though it beats country....1.5/5
7. Let's Stay Together- Trenyce- probably one of the best songs for her to sing...but i liked her tv version better..3/5
8. Back at One- Rickey Smith- I'm not a fan of the song....but Rickey did a great job at it...i think endless love would have shown more of his vocals....4/5
9. Killing me Softly- Kimberley Caldwell- A classic american song sung well by kimberley...she wasn't my fav on the show but nontheless a good job...4/5
10. Open arms- Corey Clark- man this guy can SING! If he didn't get dq'ed for the "incident" i'm thinking that with his potential...he could have won...5/5
11. How do i live- Carmen Rasmussen- Not at all on key....she was never a favorite of mine and this is no different...I think that she only got this far because of her looks. 0/5
12. Over the Rainbow- This was terrible! In fact i don't think any 3rd place finisher should have made it that far in all 3 competitions..i believe the only reason she even made it to the finals was because she told simon that "he sucked" 0/5
13. Overjoyed- Charles Grigsby- he has got great tone! He has a strong voice...and because of people like the above (11 and 12) he only got 11th...my beef with the people voting as much as they please....5/5
