I am a Huge fan of American Idol, so of course I will bye the C.D. Although I like all of the finalists I was disapointed by some of the songs, and some of the song selection. First, I think Ruben sang well, but I would have prefered he ssang a different song. For example when he sang " Lets Just Kiss and Say Good Bye" or " Sweet Home Alabama " Also Julia it didn't really sound like her. I thought Ricky did his song well, but I wish he had sang a differant. I thought Carmen's song was OK. Kimberly Locke either should have done an amazing job like on the show or picked a different song which in my opinion she should have done. And where is Vanessa? I really want to know she had an excellent voice, and she definitly did not deserve to go first. But why isn't she on th CD. Any way all in all good CD I would give it 4 1/2 / 5Free Music Review: Very Good

wow, what a great cd with a lot of good surprises! the definite stand-outs of the cd are (in no particular order):Superstar- Ruben Studdard
On the Wings of Love- Clay Aiken
Lets Stay Together- Trenyce
Killing Me Softly- Kimberly Caldwell
Over the Rainbow- Kimberley Locke
It seems to me that the editorial reviewer didn't take this cd seriously at all, seeing as they didn't even bother to get Ruben's last name right. This is not part of the American Idol competition, and just because Paula, Simon and Randy aren't making comments doesn't make it a bad cd. These people are friends and recording artists, not contestants in a reality tv show that will be a flash in the pan. I think we can excpect long careers for Clay, Ruben, and hopefully Kimberley Locke!
Free Music Review: Surprisingly well done compilation.

When I heard this CD was coming out, I questioned whether I'd even buy it, although I'm a big fan of the show American Idol. I then had a chance to hear the CD, and knew I had to have it. These are studio recordings, not live on-the-show performances, and they sound great. There are no songs that are just awful, and most are quite surprising. I think I was most impressed with Kimberly Caldwell's "Killing Me Softly," but I have several favorites. I'm very impressed. It should be noted that "Overjoyed" is sung by Charles, not the whole group; and incidentally, Charles did a great job with that track. A must have if you like a lot of the American Idol Season 2 finalists. The only disappointment is that Vanessa isn't featured on the CD.Free Music Review: Phat freshness for years to come!!

Hey, ya' thought Volume 1 was dope, wait'll ya' hear the hits on V2!! These kids are SMOKIN' - on the real!! It's been awhile since phat dopeness of this magnitude hit record stores, but hey, this is why America is great - up 'n' coming youngsters storming da scene!! Did you all see the Elton John (EJ) medley these youngsters did on TV? Man, that was dope!! Old man Elton was surely shakin' in his boots! Now, if we could only get 'em to imitate Joel on stage, the world would be right again.
Support dope music by supporting these talented kids. Later days, dudes!!
P.S.: Ryan Seacrest was correct in recruiting these youngsters for his American Idol talk show!!
