My daughter and I are big American Idol fans and we figured this CD wouldn't be all that different from the show, but it was ! Some of the musical arrangements are a bit "canned" and a couple of the voices are over-digitized, but for the most part it is well worth the money and very enjoyable !Most surprising is Clay Aiken, who loses his over-the-top Broadway style and gives us an understated but still dynamic rendition of "On the Wings of Love". Who says this guy isn't a pop singer ? we're wearing out his track replaying it over and over !
Also surprisingly pleasant are the songs by Julia Demato, Rickey Smith and Charles Grigsby

Clay has most definitley the best voice I have ever heard, and he proves it on the song, On the wings of Love, which is a classic itself...Julia has an amazing voice, but I'm not so sure that is the best song for her! Corey, I don't want to be rude or anything, but he really is awful...Kimberly Caldwell, her attitude turns me off right away...Carmen, does not have a very good voice in the first place, and she just simply cannot sing..and her attitude makes her singing seem bad...But Clay most defifnitley gives this CD a five! Sorry to any Corey, Kim C., or Carmen fans!! That's just how I feel!Free Music Review: Clay, Clay, Clay...

Great CD!!! I bought it while on our 2 day road trip. After listening a gazillion times, even my children sang along to these "new" songs.

Amazing, awesome, wonderful, superb!!! His voice is a gift from God. I can't put into words how much I enjoy hearing his voice. He could sing the ABC's and I'd listen over and over again.

Clay's voice and rendition of this song - WOW! WOW! WOW!!! It is definitely the best track in this ablum. His voice is crystal clear, his performance - perfect. I am 40 years old and have listened to many singers and man, Clay is just one of the very best. If for no other reason, buy this album just to hear Clay.This album also gives the American Idol2 finalists to share with us their beautiful voices with specific reference to Kimberly Locke. Someone sign her up please! I am looking forward to getting a cd from her.

All of the singers on this CD has awesome talent. They were all different in their own way. Everyone loves American Idol. It brings families together in front of the TV. This CD really shows what american idol is a about. It's about finding a superstar and they certainly did that. I cried the first time I heard this musical miracle. It touched me and touched others with the melody's of yesterday turned into the hip melody's of today. Thankyou American Idol for touching the hearts of many and touching them right.
