This cd is a nice showcase for the top 12. Some songs are better than others.
It's really too bad that the person who reviewed this cd is so offensive when it comes to Taylor Hicks. Taylor has a huge fan base, not only in the USA but many other countries as well. I think that amazon.com has lost themselves a lot of potential customers. I am from Canada and I buy alot from amazon.ca. I certainly won't be purchasing this cd from there.
I would like to know why, if your reviewer is representing your company and if her ideas are in line with your company, why you would want to carry the product of an artist that you think is so bad? Having an opinion on something is fine, but she very blatently bashes Taylor. Taylor's fans will not take to that kindly. This one didn't.
Free Music Review: Elliott is by far the true American Idol

It's amazing to read all the reviews and how most of them pertain to Elliott Yamin. He came into the competition as the underdog and truly showed American what a gifted, talented, and humble human being he is. Elliott's rendition of Moody's Mood for Love brings tears to my eyes whenever I hit track #9 on the CD player. He truly has a beautiful voice. This song alone makes the CD worth the money. I fast forward through the majority of the songs or just skip the song entirely in a few cases. We can only hope that Elliott will continue on with his music career and put out more of his beautiful music for us true Elliott fans to listen to and enjoy. We Virginian truly know who is the season 5 real American Idol is.Free Music Review: This CD is worth buying

This is going to sting too, because I have purchased many many things from Amazon over the years. I have now canceled my most recent order ... the single of Taylor Hicks from American Idol. I can't think of anything that I just have to have from Amazon. That is the most biased and stupid review I ever read. She insulted Taylor, the Soul Patrol and the majority of Americans that voted for him. This is not counting the international fans that love him. I have plenty of resources to get the music, books, appliances, cameras, clothes, DVD's, etc. that I need or want. I hope the people that count at Amazon read this. Among all the American Idol compilation albums, Season 5 is the best A.I album so far. American Idol is just like wine, they get better as time goes on. I can say that America finally got it right this time by voting the best in this years group of singing hopefuls. I enjoyed almost everything in this album. I am not a fan of Melissa and Kelly but they sang their best songs which was included in this album. I am so happy that Katherine, Taylor, Paris, Chris, Elliot, Ace and Mandissa sang their showstopping numbers in this album. For all those who want to relive some of the best songs interpreted this season, this album is truly a keeper and worth the money you will pay to buy this album. Love it!
