American Idol rocks and so does there CD. But I don't like how people critisize singers on the CD. I know he have like the "Freedom of Opinion" and everything but when somebody does something mean it makes not only the singer but the fans feel like they want to punch that person out! Its funny that people say stuff like that just becuase they like a different gene of music. Like I said a The American Idol Season 5 Encores is a great Cd Mandisa,Kellie,Paris,Bucky,Ace,Kat,Taylor,Chris,Lisa,Melissa, Elliot, and Kevin sang there best on this cd and should NOT be critisized.Free Music Review: Elliot Yamin

Elliot Yamin has a voice that you won't find very often, it's that very special kind of voice. The kind that pulls and tugs at your emotions, a very very beautiful voice. Wow!
Taylor Hicks, Chris Daughtry,Paris Bennet, also did very well on this compilation. AceYoung,Bucky,Catherine,Kellie,Mandisa,Kevin did a fine job.
Melissa McGhee has a beautiful voice that wasn't heard enough on the show. Elliot is my American Idol, followed by Melissa, and Taylor , and Chris Daughtry, and Paris. Those are five cd's I will buy, if those five get the chance to make one.

I like most of the cuts on this cd, however, the stand out for me was Elliott Yamin. His rendition of James Moody's "Moody's Mood For Love" is sung with so much soul and emotion. The more I listen to it the better and better that it sounds. He sounds as if he has been singing all his life. I can't believe that someone with his vocals has only sung at local karoake bars. I purchased his song on Itunes because I feel he is the only one on the ai cd that gives me that goosebumps feeling when I hear his voice. Much love to ya E. You are my ai.

this compilation reeks of the mediocre "pop-plague" that FOX's American Idol production co is so good at providing us with.
however, one standout performance by ELLIOTT YAMIN makes this CD worth purchasing just to hear him sing for 3 minutes and 11 seconds. Yamin's cover of James Moody's Classic "Moody's Mood For Love" showcases that not all of the American Idol contestants are consumed by indistiguishable voices and a lack of vocal control. You can feel and hear "YAMIN IS A STAR" in every phrase, riff, and line of this beautful cover.

I loved everyone this season, which is a first for me. I am looking foward to my first tour. I've never gone but, really wanted to go this year because of Ace Young! I love his smooth voice and, Father Figure on this CD is no exception. It is my favorite followed by Chris Daughtry, Taylor Hicks and, Melissa McGhee. I also really enjoy Bucky, Elliot, Mandisa and the rest. This was a great season! Ace is the most talented in my opinion. I voted for him many times each week and, I felt that he left way too soon. I'll buy any CD he releases!
