Free Music Review: The Greatest Cd!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Fantasia Barrino,
Fantasia's voice sounds awesome in this song! Her real voice reflects in the song,"Chain of Fools". I'm not her biggest fan but she does great in this song! Her voice is so...real!

George Huff,
George's voice in this song is a smooth. Which is a good thing. It's great to hear a smooth and slow side of him! He's a great singer and this song really proves it! He sounds incredible!

Diana DeGarmo,
Diana sings a powerful song and she really hits those high notes! At first it's a bit pitchy...but she wraps it up well at the end. She's a real talented singer and she has great potential!

LaToya London,
LaToya really does well in slow songs and she did her best in the song,"If You Don't Know Me By Now". LaToya's has a great voice and this song matched her true voice a lot. Also, this is a great song for her!

Jennifer Hudson,
Jennifer sang another slow song. Jennifer does really well in slow songs too, but this song didn't really reflect her well. Her voice was too low for this song. I'm really a huge fan of hers but this just wasn't her song... It would have been better if she chose another song that matched her a bit more.

Amy Adams,
Amy sounds awesome in this song! Her voice is so soft! Her voice totally rocked this song. Her smooth and gentle voice hit the notes and although there were some pitch problems, she did a good job, overall.

Matt Rogers,
Matt sang another wonderful song. But for me, it just wasn't it.. He started out okkkk but in the end he fell apart and it wasn't a great song for him...Maybe if he would have sang a song that would have kept him together it would have been much better. But it wasn't a bad song to match him...He did okay.

Jasmine Trias,
Jasmine did a fantastic job on this song! I couldn't think of any other song better for her! Her voice did a great job! She risks to hit the high notes and she did them proud! I've never really thought she sang good until I heard her sing this song! She rocked!

Jon Peter Lewis,
Jon did an okay song. He didn't give a lot of power though. He didn't sing it with all his heart! He did good, but not his best. I know he could have done better if he tried.

Camile Velasco
Camile did a good job. She didn't do the greatest, but she did well. She sang with her true R&B voice and although it was a bit pitchy she did a good job after all.

Leah LaBelle
Leah isn't a good singer overall. She can sing, but isn't good! She has no tone to her voice. This song was a good song choice but not for her kind of voice because it slowed her voice down a lot. She should have choice an easier song where she can just sing her voice out easily.

John Stevens,
John did a job well done in this song! I just love how his voice sounds in this song! It's so...gentle! I think he did a great job and he can continue to do better! John did his best and I think he should be really proud of himself!

OVERALL:
So, overall, this cd is a great cd! And if you didn't get one yet, what are you waiting for?! It's on sale now! I got mine at Amazon, just order it! That is, if you want! Well, hope you enjoyed my review!
-Romana

Free Music Review: Wow!
Hit: 5 Stars

When Randy said that this was the best season ever, I completly agree. I enjoyed almost every song on this track, with the exception of very, very few.

1. Chain of Fools by Fantasia Barrino, What a great track. I really love Fantasia's voice and she puts her soul into this song. If you don't like her voice, you might not like it, but for me... 10/10
2. Me and Mrs. Jones by George Huff, Another Great track. You can tell George puts his soul into his music in this song. And he really good voice. 10/10
3. I Heard it Through the Grapevine by Diana Degarmo, I really love Diana. She has an excellent voice. I thought it would have been better if Fantasia should have sung this song and Diana would sing Think. But still a great track. 9/10
4. If You Don't Know Me By Now by LaToya London, LaToya is great. When I first heard her, I thought she was going to win, but the voting system is flawwed. Anyway, this is another great track. I was a little dissapointed because I was expecting much more, but this is still a good track. 9/10
5. Neither One of Us Wants To Be The First to Say Goodbye Bye Jennifer Hudson, great voice and great song. Jennifer has blown me away and I really do believe she can be the next Whitney Houston. She does an excellent job on this song. 10/10
6. You Make Me Feel Brand New by Amy Adams, ehh... disapointing. When she sang this song in the 1st round, it was kinda boring. She didn't too much with this song. Amy has a good voice, but it doesn't really shine here. 6/10
7. Sittin' On the Dock of the Bay by Matt Rogers, I never really liked Matt. It would have been better if George sang this song and Matt sang the song he sang on the 1st night. He does an okay job with this song. 6/10
8. Midnight Train to Georgia by Jasmine Trias, I love Jasmine. She does a great job with this track, but she doesn't really put her soul into this song. 8/10
9. My Girl by Jon Peter Lewis, I never really liked JPL either, but he does an okay job with this song. If you ladies like him, you will enjoy this track. 7/10
10. Until You Come Back to Me That's What I'm Gonna Do by Camile Velasco, I really love Camile. I really think this is one of the best tracks on this CD. She has an excellent voice tone. This shows that she was meant to be a recording artist. Camile does a great job with this song and I hope she gets a record contract someday. 10/10
11. Betch By Golly Wow by Leah Lebelle, too bad Leah left on the first week. She does have a great voice. 9/10
12. You Are Everything by John Stevens, sorry John fans, I hate this guy. Maybe if this was American Idol 1945, I might have liked him. If you John fans like him, this could be a good track for you guys. But for me... 3/10
13. Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Ensemble, too much George, LaToya, and Fantasia. They hog the entire song. I don't even think Diana, Camile, Leah, Jasmine, and John are in this song. Otherwise, a good track. 7.5/10

Overall, this is a great CD for Idol fans and music general.

Free Music Review: very good but they should put out another cd
Hit: 5 Stars

this cd was awesome except for leah but they should put out a cd with each of the contestants best songs and this is what i think they should do
Fantasia - "Summertime" becuase like randy said it was the best performance on idol ever
Diana - "One Voice" or "No More Tears" because diana was just perfect on one voice and even simon said that he apologized about the whole age thing when she sang no more tears
Jasmine - "You're All I Need to Get By" because this was really the only song i liked by her because its a fun song to listen to
besides her soul week performance but it got boring after awhile
La Toya - "Ain't Nobody", "All The Time", or "Don't Rain On My Parade" because aint nobody is just a realy fun song to listen to and all the time showed that she was the best singer in the competition like simon said and i just love dont rain on my parade but its realy hard to pick a best song for la toya cus she did great every week
George - "Take Me To The Pilot" because its one of my favorite songs and its also a very fun song
John - "King Of The Road" because it was one of the few songs i liked from him and just the fact that it wa really good
Jennifer - "Heatwave" bacause this was the only song she did that was good and wasnt a slow song that makes you feel sad
JPL - "Drift Away" because this maybe my alltime favorite song and he did awesome with it and shouldve sang this for the greatest soul classics cd
Camile - "Desperado" because i never liked camile and this is the only song that i sort of liked
Amy - "Dancing In The Steets" because this is another really fun song that you can dance to but she was really good and it would have been more difficult to choose for her if she had stayed on longer
Matt - "Hard To Handle" becauseonce again another really fun song and again it would have been harder to choose if he had stayed longer cus he was really good
Leah - "I Have Nothing" because, well... i really dont know why i chose this one because i dont like her at all and other people say that she did good with this song so i guess thats why i chose it

otherwise the greatest soul classics is incredibly good and i love it a lot but if they make this kind of cd then itll be a lot better

Free Music Review: well...SHUT MY MOUTH!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

coming from a FORMER Camile-hater.......WHAT THE?!?!?

first off, let me preface this by admitting that i am no music industry professional. just an avid music fan and a fan of the American Idol Television Show.

i listened to the whole CD once through. fantasia...she did fine. nothing memorable. enjoyed george's track. diana's was just ok for me. thought la toya (who's my favorite for this season) did ehhhh...ok. thought jennifer (who i JUST started to like the week she got voted off) was sounding like a whitney houston wanna-be. amy...hmmm...jay leno-ish. just kidding. she sounded ok. matt rogers...was waiting to see if he was gonna whistle. he DID! he actually did fine with the vocals too. kind of made me want to sip some hire's root beer. jasmine...oh poor girl. who chose that song for her? and who told her to try and do so many runs (she pulled off about half of em)? JPL. no. and then camile. WHOA! this song RESCUED this CD from getting thrown out my car window. where was all that style and confidence when she was competing in the show? i knew i should've voted for her, just couldn't get myself to do it (based on her on-stage performances). oh well...guess i have to wait for her solo cd. Leah...i didn't hate her at ALL. good song choice. (i don't know if it was because i was in such a good mood after hearing camile's song). john stevens sang, "today i saw somebody..." SKIP. sorry man. the ensemble song was fun, but why didn't they do the part where the beats break and they yell, "AIN'T NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH! AIN'T LOW ENOUGH!..."

in short (too late), i gave the cd 5 stars based on the performances of george and camile. those two tracks and the ensmble one are the only tracks that i really listen to . camile's i can repeat. you go girl...sorry about the previous hating. the rest of the tracks are ok too (except for the ugly background music). you might listen to jasmine, jpl, and john just to say you listened to it. don't get me wrong...i think all three of those people are AI worthy, and may even end up with a music career if they pursue it. i just don't think they did their songs justice.

Free Music Review: I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL
Hit: 5 Stars

This cd is amazing! American Idol is the most watched show in America, and if you listen to this, you'll see why! This top 12 is the most talented (with the exception of John Stevens). Here's a track list.

Fantasia Barrino-Chain of Fools: 10/10 THIS GIRL CAN SING. She is one of the best and proves it with this song.

George Huff-Me and Mrs. Jones: 8/10 George is an ok singer, but not amazing. ok rendition, but a pretty safe song.

Diana Degarmo-I Heard It Through The Grapevine: 10/10 This girl has gotten better and better. This is 1 of my favorite songs and she does it wonderfully.

LaToya London-If You Don't Know Me By Now: 9/10 LaToya is one of the best. The only problems with this song is that she picked a very dull song and only sings the chorus once.

Jennifer Hudson-Neither One Of Us 9/10 Jennifer is a very talented singer and shouldn't have been voted off so early. I gave this song a 9 because she simply isn't as good as some.

Amy Adams-You Make Me Feel Brand New 8/10 Amy is ok, but she mainly got by on personality on AI. Not one of the best

Matt Rogers-The Dock of the Bay 9/10 He was never great, but this song sure is! If this is actually him, & not the studio, he should still be around.

Jasmine Trias-Midnight Train To Georgia 9/10 Jasmine is great, but again not amazing with this song. a little safe

Jon Peter Lewis-My Girl 7.5/10 all right. Slow songs have never been good to him. I wish that he had done a fast song that he could dance to.

Camile Velasco-Until You Come Back To Me 4/10 She was TERRIBLE on AI, and this is studio magic all the way.

Leah Lebelle-Betcha By Golly, Wow 6/10 We didn't see much of her, so its hard to tell if this is really her. Its ok, but a little boring and too sweet.

John Stevens-You Are Everything 0/10 I don't think he can sing at all. He is never on pitch on AI, and this song is the same. I wish he would get voted off soon.

Everyone-Ain't No Mountain High Enough 10/10 Great job on this one. Everyone had parts that were good for them. One of my favorite soul songs.

Despite the dissapointments of John Stevens and Camile Velasco, this cd is great!! Buy it now!
