Free Music Review: I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL

This cd is amazing! American Idol is the most watched show in America, and if you listen to this, you'll see why! This top 12 is the most talented (with the exception of John Stevens). Here's a track list.Fantasia Barrino-Chain of Fools: 10/10 THIS GIRL CAN SING. She is one of the best and proves it with this song.
George Huff-Me and Mrs. Jones: 8/10 George is an ok singer, but not amazing. ok rendition, but a pretty safe song.
Diana Degarmo-I Heard It Through The Grapevine: 10/10 This girl has gotten better and better. This is 1 of my favorite songs and she does it wonderfully.
LaToya London-If You Don't Know Me By Now: 9/10 LaToya is one of the best. The only problems with this song is that she picked a very dull song and only sings the chorus once.
Jennifer Hudson-Neither One Of Us 9/10 Jennifer is a very talented singer and shouldn't have been voted off so early. I gave this song a 9 because she simply isn't as good as some.
Amy Adams-You Make Me Feel Brand New 8/10 Amy is ok, but she mainly got by on personality on AI. Not one of the best
Matt Rogers-The Dock of the Bay 9/10 He was never great, but this song sure is! If this is actually him, & not the studio, he should still be around.
Jasmine Trias-Midnight Train To Georgia 9/10 Jasmine is great, but again not amazing with this song. a little safe
Jon Peter Lewis-My Girl 7.5/10 all right. Slow songs have never been good to him. I wish that he had done a fast song that he could dance to.
Camile Velasco-Until You Come Back To Me 4/10 She was TERRIBLE on AI, and this is studio magic all the way.
Leah Lebelle-Betcha By Golly, Wow 6/10 We didn't see much of her, so its hard to tell if this is really her. Its ok, but a little boring and too sweet.
John Stevens-You Are Everything 0/10 I don't think he can sing at all. He is never on pitch on AI, and this song is the same. I wish he would get voted off soon.
Everyone-Ain't No Mountain High Enough 10/10 Great job on this one. Everyone had parts that were good for them. One of my favorite soul songs.
Despite the dissapointments of John Stevens and Camile Velasco, this cd is great!! Buy it now!

This is a great great cd. I will rate each on their own.1. Chain Of Fools-8/10, I usually Hate Fantasia, Maybe its cause i love the song, But i liked her singing it, SCARY, I thought it would suck, Very impressed.
2. Me And Mrs Jones-9/10, The scratchy Voiced George Impressed Me! He gave A Great Song. I Liked It A Lot.
3. I Heard It Through The Grapevine-10/10, These are Some powerful Pipes that 16 year old Diana Degarmo has. She should have won the whole thing not 2nd place. The Best song on the cd, This was a Great song for If You Dont Know Me By Now-10/10, Latoya gave awesome vocals she could do better. So she has the 2nd best song on the cd. Latoya Is GREAT!
5. Neither One Of Us (Wants To Be The First To Say Goodbye)-10/10, Jennifer has a powerful and awesome voice i love her. She should have gotten 3rd to Latoya and Diana. She is awesome. Although her hair looks ALOT BETTER Straight.
6. You Make Me Feel Brand New-9/10, You Wouldnt expect this kind of voice out of some one with pink hair, ut Amy Adams is different. She Is Awesome.
7. (Sittin' On) the Dock Of The Bay-5/10, Sorry Matt Not that Bad But Forgetable.
8. Midnight Train To Georgia-8/10, She has a Fantasic voice. But Not a Good Song Choice. Jasmine isnt this kinda song style. She should a done a faster song.
9. My Girl-6/10, What was that. Easily one of the worst on the CD. JPL is good sometimes but not this time.
10. Until You Come Back To Me (Thats What I'm Gonna Do)-10/10,
Camile is great she has that fantasic tone while i wasnt a fan on idol i liked her more than 3 or 4 people. She is awesome here. Love It!!!!
11. Betcha By Golly,Wow-10/10, stupid title great song and lyrics. Leah is DA Bomb. She has A Great Voice
12. You Are Everything-1/10, John cant sing a note its that simple.
13. Ain't No Mountain High Enough-10/10, But wheres Matt,Leah, and John. It seems George, La Toya, Jennifer And Fantasia have to big of parts. Diana is almost no where to be found i dont hear her but people say she has a line.
Over All The Best Idol CD Music Review: One of the Best Idol CDs That I Own!!!

This CD was absolutely great. All twelve songs and the ensemble song are absolutely amazing. Let me just give you a taste of each of the songs.
1.) Fantasia Barrino - Chain of Fools: This was a perfect song for Fantasia. She brought so much personality into it and I loved this version. 5/5
2.) George Huff - Me and Mrs. Jones: I have never heard of this song, but now I do. This song was done beautifully. 5/5
3.) Diana Degarmo - Heard it through the Grapevine: I never really liked Diana. This isn't the best I have ever heard out of her. But she did a nice job anyway. 4/5
4.) Latoya London - If you don't know me by now: Why oh why didn't she win!!!! Latoya, if you release this as a single, it would be a #1 hit! Beautiful, I love you Latoya. 10/5
5.) Jennifer Hudson - Neither one fo us: Again, never heard of this song, but now I do. She brought out her personality. 5/5
6.) Amy Adams - You make me feel brand new: I liked her version of this song. I think she brought out her broadway style into this. 4/5
7.) Matt Rogers - Dock of the bay: Ah, the football player. I say 1st down, not touchdown. But, this was a great tune. 4/5
8.) Jasmine Trias - Midnight Train to Georgia: Ah, the Gladys Night tune. The background vocals were a little corny, but Trias always has a beautiful voice. 4/5
9.) Jon Peter Lewis - My Girl: I never liked JPL, to be honest. This song was not the best choice for him, but I liked the version. 3/5
10.) Camile Velasco: Til You Come Back To Me: My favorite song on the CD. She showed off her range, and I loved it. 5/5
11.) Leah Labelle - Betcha by golly Wow!: Nope. The only song I don't like on this CD. The moment I read the song title, I knew this song would be bad. 2/5
12.) John Stevens - You Are Everything: I actually liked this song. John has a nice voice, and he did great. 4/5
13.) Ain't No Mountain High Enough - This wasn't the best version I have ever heard, but it was a great way to end the CD. Bravo. 4/5

Free Music Review: SOUL SURPRISE

There are some real happy surprises here, if you want to hear Fantasia really rock or you appreciate Jennifer when she gets down to a low moan. 'Tasia is hot on this album ! It sure doesn't sound like any Idol CD I've ever heard. And now for Camile's "Until You Come Back to Me". Oh, wow.
Wow Wow Wow. ABSOLUTE BEST of the album. Her voice is perfect for this song, and she is somewhere else when she sings --- a cool smoky vibe, picking up that low sexiness she has when she talks, and she has the energy of the emotions here to sustain it the entire song.
We could never hear this voice very well on the show, but if you have downloaded her MP3's from her performances, you know she comes across on recording much better. This is an old Stevie Wonder tune, but you don't hear any of that here; Camile's style make it a whole new song, different notes, new excitement, repeating the same phrase two or three times as she sings, a beautiful tone as she rises higher toward the ending, then shifts down and down and suddenly there is Stevie's voice for a minute.
Ah, it is excellent.
These are the two best. John Stevens' song will give your heart a tug, it is clear and honest and romantic. He sounds appealing, he sounds mature, not 16 ! Very nice performance. 3rd best on this CD.
4th best = Diana's "Heard It Through the Grapevine" - I had to grab the CD cover to see who was singing it. Right on it here.
5th best - Jon Peter's "My Girl" - and I agree they should have given him something exciting he could rock out to, or wail to. He gets some of his unique rhythm in the last half, and he sounds so good to those of us who loved him, his tone is memorable, his appeal is personal. He sings to YOU.
Yes, I would buy a CD of John's, of Camile's, of Jon's, and of Fantasia's. I'm excited to see what they will produce in the future. This show is about finding new talent, and I have found it in them. I'm really enjoying this CD. Get it for a real nice surprise, and then don't be surprised to be thrilled.
Free Music Review: LATOYA WAS 5 Stars
Jasmine cries and gets tons of sympathy votes, and now the best singer(Latoya) is out of the competition. America what were you thinking? Now the American Idol finale is gonna be so boring. Thanks alot! Just had to get that off of my chest. Now to review this album. American Idol is my favorite show and Soul is my favorite music, so i love this album. Even those voted off weeks ago made a good remake to these great classics. I'm gonna rate these tracks out of 1-10.8/10 FANTASIA-Chain of fools (This is a great song, showing off her crazy and fun personality.)
9/10 GEORGE-Me and Mrs.Jones (Another great job by Mr.Huff using his unique style and making it his own.)
8/10 DIANA-I heard it through the grapevine (A very good song by the ever improving Diana Degarmo.)
9/10 LATOYA-If you don't know me by now (Obvious that she was my favorite finalist. Another great song by the REAL idol.)
10/10 JENNIFER-Neither one of us (This is by far the best song on this album. Another one that was robbed.)
4/10 AMY-You make me feel brand new (One of my favorite songs, just not by her.)
5/10 MATT-Dock of the bay (An average song, it's ok but kinda boring. Sorry Matt.)
9/10 JASMINE-Midnight train to Georgia (Not a great performer but she does a good job on this one.)
3/10 JPL-My girl (I don't know what to say, it just doesn't fit. Atleast you don't have to see him dancing.)
8/10 CAMILLE-Until you come back to me (Excellent song choice for her. Camille has potential, too bad the nerves got to her.)
9/10 LEAH-Betcha by golly, wow (I forgot what her voice sounded like. Not bad based on this song. I'm impressed.)
1/10 JOHN-You are everything (Never been a fan of his, and this definitely didn't change my mind.)
