Free Music Review: I love what American Idol has done for singing!

As a professional singer and Voice Teacher, I am so thrilled to see how American Idol has given the art of singing such a jump start in these last few years. These American Idol CDs and programs are filled with so much varying talents. From Hard rock to Country, America is becoming interested in identifying true talent. As an Opera Singer myself I can still enjoy the gifts of other genres and am sad to hear when others look down upon the show. Also, as a voice teacher of many styles I can't stress enough the need to my own students for them to develop themselves as a "Complete Unique Package". Finding their own true niche and style including: voice type, genre, best repertoire, to the the right audition outfit. American Idol teaches the same theories. Be true to yourself and your voice to get your best shot at this business of singing. I am an advocat for AI and all shows that encourage the high developement of arts in America. We come from a society that watched sports religiously on telievision (which is great) but there are so many talents to support including singing out there amongst us. American Idol gives artists and viewers a fantastic opportunity.Free Music Review: STOP THIS FANTASIA BASHING!

ok i love american idol and i know everybody has there own opinion of who is good and who is not good, but calling people rude and inappropriate names is just wrong. i've read that people think that fantasia squeaks, sounds like a frog, and sounds like she is just screaming. i think thats ok to say, but ive read people calling her s l u t t y just because she is 19 and has a child. maybe she adopted her or maybe she is really fantasia's daughter, but just because fantasia has a kid, doesnt mean she is irresponsible. i know someone who is the same age as her and having a kid in august, but she isnt at all irresponsible. so stop being mean! think how you would feel if somebody called you mean names?
well i love this cd, ecspecially the songs by fantasia,latoya,amy,george,jennifer, and matt.

The best song on this cd is from Latoya London..she has a amazing voice.second one is Fantasia..i just love chain of fools.
3. Camile..i'm not a real fan of her voice but she did a great job.
4.jennifer hudson...she's a really good singer.
5.Leah Labelle I love this song even though Leah can't sing.
6.George..he did aiight.
7.Amy..i really love this song i think amy can sing better then stupid jasmine trias.
8.Diana she screams to much ..but she's only 16.
9.Matthew.. i love this song.
10.JPL...not his best song.
11.Jasmine...i hate this song this girl can't sing.
12.Jonh Stevens..why was this boy in the top 12???????

God, its like wtf...Randy Jackson (known A&R, who has worked with such artist as Elton John, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, etc.) said in his own words, "Dawg the best performance ive EVER seen in these 3 seasons" and guess to who did he say this to...FANTASIA!! Ok, none of u people who are saying that she sings bad, know about singing!! she has a squeeky voice...so wat!! shes still in the compitition, because of her ear training, her sense of style, her unique voice, and her very positive attitude!!...shes in the top 4 for god sake!! so u all have to shut up and let the people who know how to seek REAL TALENT...do the freakin job!!!...please!!Free Music Review: Nice compilation of songs

I think the choice of songs were very nice. Not everyone who sings on this cd sounds right singing but it is worth the buy to hear those that did a great job. My favorites are definately:Neither one of us Jennifer Hudson

I was very surprised how good Leah Labelle sounded but her rendition of this song is one of my favorites on the cd. The worst songs in my opinion are from John Stevens and Jon Peter Lewis their renditions make you wonder how they made it to the top 12.
