The story telling woven with the simple yet heart pounding riffs is enough to make you want to down a horn of mead grab a sword and jump on a longboat. This is a worthy work of art. Goes to show how these guys NEVER, ever disappoint and you can certainly guarantee quality upon picking up a record by them, even after having a more placid and mellower brutality like on Fate of Norns, it truly is a strong album.
Pick this album regardless of foreign opinions and crank this evil little f*cker up and succumb to it sovereignty.

Amon amarth is one of the few deathmetal bands that i can say i do apreciate unlike alot of utterly and terrible deathmetal acts that we have on the scene today. Althought "fate of nons" is a difirent sound for aa it still is plain amazing and should be in your collection, without a doubt. This album is just as fierce as the ones before it. They still stick to the viking theme as they always have. This is a blood soaked album of misery, death, and revenge. It is a must buy for any amon amarth fan and any fan of metal!!!!
