Much more could be said about this evolution of a great band but listen for yourself and BUY THE DAMN ALBUM! Amon Amarth set the bar pretty high with their 2006 release "With Oden On Our Side" so I wasn't sure "Twilight" would reach that level. I was wrong. AA delivers again. If you are even a casual fan of Amon Amarth or Viking/"Battle" metal in general pick up "Twilight of the Thunder God" you won't be disappointed.Free Music Review: Amazing

I just recently started listening to Amon Amarth, and Twilight of the Thunder God is an AMAZING album. I crank it up in my mp3 player while I work and it's awesome in so many ways. The way the have the heavy death metal sound while having a melody and interesting stories in the songs.Free Music Review: Classic Amon

Enough said, this is Amon Amarth at there best, beating out the metalcore fags and opening the doors for Viking/Melodic Death Metal once more. You can expect this album in the same vain as there other albums 'With Oden On Our Side' and 'Fate Of Norns'Free Music Review: One of the best albums of 2008!
