Free Music Notes for Last Days At the LodgeFree Music Review: By far my favorite Amos Lee cd yet! LOVE it!! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm relatively new to Amos Lee's music and I like every song I've heard so far but this cd is by far my favorite. I use music as a backdrop while I work on my art as well as for motivation while exercising and this cd has great slow tunes for my calm working moods and a couple really fun faster-pace songs for when you want to move!
My favorite tracks are LISTEN, TRUTH, and STREET CORNER PREACHER.
Free Music Review: Love it! Hit: 5 Stars
I am a new fan, having heard AL interviewed on NPR. It is guaranteed calm-you-down music. He has a wonderful voice. Right now the song that in my head is Won't Let You Go - in fact, the song won't let me go. Amos Lee is that rare artist who reminds you of others (Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye), but is undeniably himself. I am excited to hear the rest of his canon.
Free Music Review: like butter! Hit: 5 Stars
Amos Lee was sent from wherever they send "the singers" to grace us with his sweet and smooth as melted butter voice. He sings like an angel. He can't do anything wrong when he is using that voice of his! There are just a few in the world like this. Dolly, Barbra, Pavarotti (sp?), a few others. Simply perfection.
Free Music Review: Soulful Hit: 5 Stars
I have been an Amos Lee fan for years and have absolutely no idea how I didn't already have this cd in my collection. It is filled with soulful, bluesy melodies that are simply amazing. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a cd where you can actually listen to every single song. Love, love this one.
Free Music Review: Still getting Better Hit: 5 Stars
First saw this guy on a TV programme "Live from Abbey Road" singing Southern Girl, loved it, just like the way he puts it out. Not going to itemise each track, but just have to say that with each album he gets better & better. This album has a slightly different feel, & is possibley more of a listener.
