Free Music Notes for Rock of Ages: Hymns & FaithFree Music Review: Thank YOU LORD for Amy.. Hit: 5 Stars
You know, I have to give the Glory to GOD in Jesus' name for HIS servant Amy - - I have been healed and inspired for twenty years because of her willingness to share the gifts and talents GOD gave her to impart HIS unconditional, unfailing, and never-ending love for each and every one of us. Her albums have kept me from losing faith altogether..many, many times. I praise GOD in Jesus' name for the beautiful music, flowing right through me....and for the knowledge that "anywhere with Jesus, I am not alone, anywhere with Jesus, I can safely go. Sweet WILL of GOD..Let me say once more..that I love YOU.
Free Music Review: Musically and Emotionally Awesome CD Hit: 5 Stars
I did not grow up on hymns.....so I am not familiar with any of these songs but they have me hooked. Amy Grant along with the producing skills of Vince Gill and Brown Bannister have done an awesome job of presenting these works of art. They've included pop songs also and still are able to make the whole CD flow together. The Vince Gill guitar playing and Amy Grant's alto voice are just treats for the ear on this CD. I can't believe I'm enjoying music written in the 1600 to 1800's.
If you play this CD even the background, you will find yourself more calm and peaceful. It's a treasure of a CD.
Free Music Review: Touchs my soul Hit: 5 Stars
This album touchs all the spiritial feelings of ones soul. As I listen to this album, I can almost feel each song shift my emotions into a different gear. This is a great album to melt away the stresses of the day, while at the same time bringing an inner peace at the promise of tomorrow, by way of ones redemption in our renewal of faith. It is a beautifully produced album, and I am glad I have it in my collection. Re: the comments by "Christian Mom" It sounded kind of familiar. Almost like what a blacksmith would say when she would have an ax or two, too grind.
Free Music Review: What a great album Hit: 5 Stars
This is a fabulous CD and should not be relegated to any one category of music. This should be in pop, folk, and popular music--not just gospel.
Although the subject of the songs are faith-based, the original arrangements and selection of songs reaches a broader audience. For example, Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee is arranged and sung in such an original way--where else can we listen to such beautiful classical music with a modern twist? The one original song, Carry You is so beautiful..makes you wish for more....
Free Music Review: Music for the ages Hit: 5 Stars
This is a beautiful and inspirational collection of songs old and new. Anyone can listen and feel the warmth and assurance of Amy's voice that is rock solid as always. Actually with the help of her husband, Vince Gill, they are better then ever. A great choice of songs to last the ages for all ages. Sit back and enjoy the sounds and experience and refresh yourself anew. If you are an Amy Grant fan you will not be diappointed and if you are not a fan as yet...have faith and you will be!
