just got Amy Rigby's latest - Til the Wheels fall Off. A GREAT cd...equal to her first, Diary of a Mod Housewife. She's absorbed all the great R&R moves into her musical subconscious and everything fuses together wonderfully...Her melodies are lovely; the arrangements go from the delicate to seriously rocking out. But it's her rueful, often witty lyrics that trump everything..An underlying drone supports the music - organ, mellotron, accordion depending on the song, but it's a neat effect. The next to last song, Believe in You, is a lovely musical homage to George Harrison... the last, All the Way to Heaven, has a sweet VU sound but almost all the songs (and esp songs 1-5 & 10,13-14) are wonderful. Jump off the Lucinda Williams bandwagon & give Amy Rigby a buy & a listen.Free Music Review: Great Lyrics, Great Music

I came across Amy Rigby about two years ago when I bought Diary of A Mod Housewife and I loved it. I went out and bought this album as soon as I heard it was out. The lyrics are awesome and the songs are entertaining. In fact after listening to this I had to go and track down her out of print albums cause I just couldn't get enough. Excellent country-twinged rock with lyrics that will appeal to all. Songs to note (in my humble opinion) are "The Deal," "Believe in You" and "Here We Go Again"Free Music Review: another brilliant Amy Rigby record

Amy Rigby's voice is as real as Merle Haggard's or Neil Young's and she can make me cry (Don't Ever Change) and laugh as hard as they can.
