Free Music Review: Beautiful Soundtrack...

If you've never seen the film, you've missed out on one of the greatest animated films of all time. But those who have will probably find the soudtrack hard to forget. Dreams to Dream is a great song, but the score is truly the gem of the CD. I purchused this CD over 2 months ago and I listen to the whole thing every other day, at least. It's that good. The score is primarily western themed music: guitars, trumpets and some fiddle, banjo and harmonica thrown in as well. Most of the songs have that sounds-kinda-familiar quality, especially the "Training" song, which has obvious refrences to Aaron Coplands "Rodeo"(some know it as the "Beef is whats for Dinner" commercial theme). The Soundtrack also has some of the origanal Russian themed music to it(which sounds alot like Balto and Enemy at the Gates) which blends nicely to the western themed stuff and gives a little variation to the CD. I, personally, love this CD, I was willing to pay 30 buck for it USED. The CD is great for yourself or as a gift. You'll appreciate it if you have a love for the Old West or if you love good western music. I personally recommend to anyone.
