Ok. Im annoyed. Annoyed at the fact that a wonderfully done film, like Anastacia, is automatically branded as something that just children will just enjoy. Well, guess what: THIS MOVIE IS NOT JUST FOR CHILDREN. This movie is for ALL ages, meaning that EVERYBODY can watch it, not just children, and enjoy it. Having sex, drugs, blood and violence does not make a movie "better".(XXX anyone?? Absolute load of CRAP!) A movie can have NONE of the above and still be good. By the way im 18 and I love this movie. Anyway, the soundtrack is wonderfully done, except for the POP versions of the songs, which I cant stand..basically because the POP songs woundn't exist without those beautifully created brodway/musical songs. Well, theres my two cents worth.Free Music Review: You can't miss it!

Regardless whether what the critics say, the "pop" songs make the album even better.The critic is saying that is what makes it horrible. "Journey to the Past" sang beautifully by the late Aaliyah Haughton is the key to this Grammy Nominated song. Without the song, "Anastasia" would be merely a cartoon. The pop songs make it believable because they are sung by familiar artist. Without the pop songs there is no need for buying the Soundtrack because you can hear them played in the movie. All of the other artist featured in this Album contribute to make this one of a kind! My favorite lyrics are to "Journey to the Past" Both "Anastasia" the character and Aaliyah sang it beautifully. THE SONG "JOURNEY TO THE PAST" SANG BY AALIYAH WAS TIGHT.I THINK THAT WAS THE BEST SONG ON THE ANASTASIA SOUNDTRACK.THAT SONG WAS MADE FOR HER TO SING.I THINK EVERY SONG ON THE ANASTASIA SOUND TRACK SHOULD HAVE BEEN SUNG BY AALIYAH.HER VOICE IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE WAY SHE SINGS IT'S LIKE LISTENING TO AN ANGEL SINGING FOR ME FROM HEAVEN.I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AALIYAH U ARE MY IDOL AND I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.AND TO THE FAMILY OF AALIYAH I HAVE YOU ALL IN MY PRAYERS ALSO AND I WISH THAT I COULD HAVE MET AALIYAH BUT EVERY TIME I TRIED I NEVER KNEW THE EXACT PLACE SHE WAS GOING TO BE.I LOVE YOU ALL PEACE.Free Music Review: Love the Songs

I love the songs on here. Its a great movie & cd. I escpecially love the songs "Journey to the Past" sang by the late Aaliya, and "Once Upon a December" by the talented Deana Carter, and "At the Begining" (my fav)a duet by Richard Marz.
