Free Music Notes for Andrea Bocelli - AmoreFree Music Review: Utterly amazing! Hit: 5 Stars
This CD, Amore, is a rare and perfect match of material, arrangement, interpretation and most importantly, VOICE.
For example, track 4, "Mi Manchi": the sad, slow start of the song builds to an anguished climax then ends in resignation, with all of the elements fusing together to bring you along for the ride. It is a song that bring back memories of any friend you've lost touch with, a true love lost, every departed loved one, or your unspoken passions.
Every nuance of the lyrics is brought to light by Andrea's interpretation: his ragged tones, the whispered sighs, the purity of the long, held notes, the wavers in the voice, the dejected emotion punctuated with utter frustration, as if he could bring the person back to him simply by the sheer force of his will and emotions.
... and that is just ONE song on an album studded with 13 other jewels!
How do you say "utterly amazing" in Italian? Bocelli's AMORE.
Free Music Review: A true musical event! Hit: 5 Stars
The recent release of this innovative album has been a very fortunate event. Andrea possesses a very warm and lyrical voice with admirable tonal registers which allowed him to undertake a fantastic and pleasant musical journey; an authentic homage to great classic themes of the past of nice remembrance in the popular memories. But there is more. the magnificent lyrics and arrangements are of first order. Christina Aguilera, Kenny G and Chris Botti, one of the best trumpeters in the world (Ray Hargrove is my favorite one) conform a refreshing and necessary album, specially in these times where the noise seemed to pretend substitute the music. Andrea has restored the romantic music, a renovated splendor and gentle elegance without that accustomed flippancy we are accustomed to watch in so many musical concerts. To my mind, the jewel of the crown song is Pero te extrano.
An album to recreate the romantic moods and discrete charm under candles or moonlight.
Free Music Review: Amore ~ Bravo Grande Andrea Bocelli Hit: 5 Stars
This is a CD that I am honored to add to my collection. Andrea Bocelli has captured the classical foundation of the beautiful songs of the mid 1900's. He has taken them to a new musical level and re-introduced them into a modern sound that melts your heart with every note that he sings. His warm, masculine voice is a perfect match for Autumn Leaves and It's Impossible. Though he sings primarily in Italian, he has the ablitity to touch ones heart with the beautiful music he creates.
He is a true artist inspiring both originality and creativity in every one of these songs. From the flair of the Spanish influeneced guitars to the beautiful jazz accompniament of Kenny G., this is an album that will surely allow you to fall in love with the works of this remarkable tenor. Bravo Grande Mr. Bocelli! You continue to amaze me with the strength of your voice and passion for music-- in every project that you take on.

Free Music Review: The Best Music You'll Ever Hear Hit: 5 Stars
I love music, most types of music, from classical (instrumental) to hard rock. I've never been a fan of lyrical classical music or opera. Opera music would make me run and hide and seek silence. I always thought it was the most gut-wrenching, horrible music I'd ever heard. But my opinion has greatly changed. Andrea's Amore album is going to get worn out in my CD players. I cannot get enough of it. I only speak English, but pretty soon I will be able to sing in Italian. Although I won't know what it means, but it doesn't matter. When Andrea sings the songs on the Amore album, it doesn't matter whether you speak the same language or not, the lyrics, the music, the atristry hits you in your depths of your soul. It's the most beautiful sound you've ever heard. I also own four more of his albums so far, and yes, The Opera Album. And I cannot get enough of any of them. When Andrea sings, there is no language barrier.
Free Music Review: ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS EVER MADE Hit: 5 Stars
Andrea Bocelli's voice cannot be overstated. Even more importantly, is the dexterity and care that was displayed in preparation for this CD. Perfect scoring utilizing the best pop musicans of this era create a blend of music that is accesable to the masses, and that is a good thing!
In an era when Jessica Simpson can sell well, its rewarding to know that quality still holds its own. Italian music has been a gift to the world before the time of Mozart. Bocelli explores the other romance languages as well, with French and Spanish beautifully portrayed by his rich and perfect pitch.
If you're not into the more classic sound, I challenge you to listen to this music in a quiet room, perhaps before sleep, and a portal to another part of your humanity will open. Step through it, and your tastes will have matured, your life will be enriched.
