Free Music Notes for Andrea Bocelli - Amore

Free Music Review: Impossibly Beautiful
Hit: 5 Stars

Bocelli has one of those voices that stops you dead in your tracks. His range is stunning, his voice rich and lovely, the notes lingering in the air like honeysuckle. Truly, the man's voice is a rare gift. Not surprisingly, 'Amore' is the perfect reflection of Andrea's immense talent. All the tracks are wonderful but I think it's safe to say that 'Because We Believe' will be an instant classic. When Andrea holds those beautiful notes at the end of the song, the effect is breathtaking. His duets with a few other 'slightly famous' singers are outstanding but I particularly liked the duet with Christina Aguilera ('Somos Novios'). The instrumentals are lovely and complement Bocelli's singing flawlessly. I own all of Bocelli's albums but 'Amore' stands out above all the rest. An absolutely splendid release and a purchase you'll never regret making.

Free Music Review: Bocelli "Belongs to My Heart." Colossal Talent!
Hit: 5 Stars

Richard D. Cappetto's review is so outstanding that I have little left to add, except that Andrea Bocellis' voice, manner, style and delivery mesmerize me, catapulting me to another dimension. I could listen to him sing all day and all night and be as contented as a kitten.

I especially adore Bocelli's renditions of "Amapola," "Besame Mucho," "Can't Help Falling in Love." And what amorous woman could resist "You Belong to My Heart?"

Whether he sings classic or pop, Bocelli is a tremendous talent.

Andrea, as the lyrics to an old Sam Cooke song go: "You-ououou send me..."

This CD has everything and then some! It's pure dynamite! I can't recommend it highly enough.

Free Music Review: Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD convinced me more than ever about the flexibility, quality and capabilty unique to Andrea Bocelli's musical artistry. Since high school Spanish years, I've heard Bésame Mucho and thought it okay but a bit lame. No longer. Never has a song been performed with more sensual beauty. His rendition of Júrame is one I have to bypass when I'm driving because I'm afraid my car is going to dance right off the road.

Seriously, Andrea has stepped up to a new challenge and convincingly conquered a genre of music new to him and exciting to those who enjoy his multiple talents.

If there is any down side to this CD, it was the disappointment of having the same song back-to-back, only in different languages. C'mon, producers. Get real. Andrea's audiences deserve better than that!

Free Music Review: Andrea Bocelli - Amore: MORE PLEASE!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Although some of the reviewers seemed disappointed in Bocelli making a departure from the usual, I agree with the majority, that this is one of the greatest CDs I own. I WANT MORE of this type music. Bocelli can sing the phone book and I'd buy it. The song that I enjoyed most is Somos Novios/It's Impossible. I didn't expect to like Christina Aguilera because she can't seem to pick a note and hold it but I have to say that it's very well done and his beautiful voice sort of tones down her wailing. Also the Spanish guitar on that song is fantastic. Mr. Foster, if you are listening, please do another CD in this style and use this guitarist on all of the songs. I believe that it is Michael Landau but I'm not positive. If someone knows for centain, let us know. Andrea Bocelli is a gift from
God!!! Thank you God.

Free Music Review: Like a vine that grows on you
Hit: 5 Stars

I haven't liked Bocelli's other works, subsequently this is my first album. I saw his performance on PBS "Under the Desert Sky" in Las Vegas, and I was impressed. I loved the musical selections, although David Foster tends to put me off as a producer. Nevertheless, I really love this album. I don't agree that the vocals are lazy, they are effortless, which is not the same thing. "The Falling Leaves" and "Somos Novios" are two of the best on the album, although everything is worth listening to. I am a big Luis Miguel fan, and he covers many, if not all of these titles, but his energy is different, and I must say I am really enjoying Bocelli in contrast to Luis Miguel. Buy the album. And I hope Amazon will be carrying the DVD soon as well. Andrea sings many more songs on the DVD than he does on this album.
