Free Music Notes for Andrea Bocelli - AmoreFree Music Review: Phenomenal ;-) Hit: 5 Stars
To say that Andrea has a magnificent voice is such an understatement. He is so truly talented and blessed with such an amazing gift. I don't normally listen to opera or modern opera, but I make an exception for him. This is my third cd of his that I own and I'm so impressed with it. I especially love his song with Kenny G (who I love listening to too) called Mi Manchi and there is a surprise beautiful song with Christina Aguillera called Somos Novios (It's Impossible). They are beautiful songs and I'm wearing out the cd right now. The only song I'd say I don't love is Can't Help Falling In Love, but it doesn't mar the rest of the album. If you aren't a fan of classical music or opera (like me), you may surprise yourself if you give this a chance. It's excellent and a real joy to listen to.
Free Music Review: Amore' is a Great Album Hit: 5 Stars
I have to say first I don't speak any of the languages of this album but I know the English Version of all the songs in the Album. The song I was most impressed with was "It's Impossible"called Somos Novios in the Album.I was so impresed with this Duet of Andrea Bocelli and Christina Aguilera I couldn't stop replaying it over and over and am listening to it as I write this.My next favorite was Amapola it is a song that brings back many memories of my Dad singing the English version of this around the house when I was a little kid.It went Amapola my pretty little poppy your like a lovely flower so sweet so devine etc.But the whole Album is Great and I hope wins a Foreign Language Grammy and Somos Novios a Latin Grammy for Best song in a Duet.
Free Music Review: Andrea! Andrea! Andrea! Hit: 5 Stars
Can we ever get enough of Andrea Bocelli? I say NO! This CD is a collection of "pop" songs, rather than his usual classical fare. There's a mixture of songs in Italian (my favorite), English, Spanish and French. With guest appearances by Kenny G, Stevie W, and produced by David F (oster). :-)
I classify it as "pop" genre because, well, any CD with "I Can't Help Falling In Love" - think Andrea in an Elvis white sequined suit - it must be pop! And, that song is live from Los Vegas no less. Ha! That song not withstanding, I loved the CD. Better yet, my wife loves it.
Whenever I listen to the Andrea's heavenly vocals I'm transported back to Tuscany. I could use some cool weather about now.
Chao!
Free Music Review: Fabulous! Hit: 5 Stars
I have adored Andrea Bocelli since the very day I was surfing through the channels and stumbled across him singing on PBS. He stopped me in my tracks then, and with this most recent release "Amore," has done it again. I own every CD ever released by Andrea Bocelli, and in my humble opinion, "Amore" is his finest shining moment. Every song on this album is nothing short of spectacular. It moves you. I have listened to this CD every single day since I purchased it the very day it was released and have purchased additional copies for my friends. Bessame Mucho, Falling Leaves, Somos Novious and I Can't Help Falling In Love are real gems. I highly recommend this CD and if I could give it a higher rating than 5 stars, I would!
Free Music Review: Light a candle, pour the vino and listen to this Hit: 5 Stars
The first time I heard this magnificent recording, I was in a store standing in a long lineup waiting to pay. It was Valentine's Day and each song --many of them duets--seemed more romantic than the one before it. At one point, I called out to the cashiers, "Where can I buy this CD?" They pointed to the CD display adjacent to the cordoned off area and suddenly every woman waiting in line bolted to the rack to grab a copy. These are some of the most beautiful love songs ever written, sung expertly by Andrea and people like Christina Aguilera. I have subsequently purchased this CD for women friends and family members. Highly recommended, especially for those special romantic moments.
