While we can all thank Mr. Bocelli for using his tenor voice to bring to popular culture beautiful music, time is showing that his voice strains to reach certain notes, you can feel the push. On this album were songs that were beautifully sung by the late Sergio Franchi, an opera singer as well as a fine singer of traditional Italian songs, and whose voice showed no strain. I did a comparison of the two singers and it was obvious, Bocelli needs to care for his voice now.Free Music Review: Musician's Decision

I was rather disappointed in this CD by Andrea Bocelli. I felt it was just a thrown together collection. I felt the accompaniment was to heavy and loud in many places. It just didn't leave me with the high spirits that his many other recordings have. It was his voice, but I actually felt he was having to force his voice at times, again because of the heavy Orchestration.Free Music Review: Italian music lover

I have almost all of Andrea Bocelli's CD's. I was a little disappointed with this one. Perhaps it was because very few of the songs were familiar to me. I will continue to listen to it and maybe it will grow on me.Free Music Review: disappointed
