I HAVENT EVEN HEARD ALL OF THE SELECTIONS YET. I AM WRITING THIS JUST AFTER HEARING WHITE CHRISTMAS. I WAS ENTHRALLED BY THE DEEP MELODIOUS SOUND OF THIS RENDITION BY SENOR BOCELLI. AS THE SELECTIONS CONTINUE I AM NOW LISTENING TO NATALIE COLE SINGING THE SONG HER FATHER MADE FAMOUS "THE CHRISTMAS SONG" {CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE} I CANT WAIT TO HEAR THE REST OF THIS CHRISTMAS ALBUM THANKYOU TO YOU ANDREA , MR FOSTER,AND ALL THE ARTISTS WHO HAVE COMPILED SUCH A TREASURE I AM NOW ON "THE LORDS PRAYER" WITH THE MORMAN TABERNACLE CHOIR. IT WILL MOVE YOU TO SERIOUSLY WANTING PEACE ON EARTH IN YOUR HEART. I WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER AS I WILL PROBABLY WEAR THIS ONE OUT BEFORE CHRISTMAS IS OVER. Mr. Bocelli is marvelous!I enjoy his style and feel touched with every note he sings.This collection contains beautiful melodies like Angels We Have Heard On High (sung in italian).The song Oh Holy Night is wonderful,but it is sweet and amazing to hear Bocelli sing it as Cantique De Noel.Silent Night is always a classic christmas hit,but I enjoy Bocelli's version.The most powerful tune that moves me here,is Adeste Fideles(what we know as O Come All Ye Faithful).Bing Crosby had a great hit with White Christmas,but I love the way Bocelli sings White Christmas/Biano Natale.Jim Henson created his famous Muppets, and they chime in to perform Jingle Bells with Mr. Bocelli.
This album is inspiring, and I applaud the work of a real music "genius".

What A Fantastic Voice!
Andrea Bocelli was touched by the heavens to sing
and his vocal gifts wrap themselves around these classic
holiday songs that we've all heard many times before and
really does breathe new life into them!
In a year of dismal & contrived Christmas CD's from otherwise brilliant
established artists, how refreshing this was to hear! (-:
It captures the true spirit of the season and will be one you'll want
to play year after year for family & friends from here on out!--Buy It!
**I particularly love the duet between Andrea Bocelli & Mary J. Blige "What Child Is This?"**
But those aren't the only ones which will touch you...a very good CD.

If you are a fan of Andrea Bocelli, then you must add this Christmas CD to your collection. I love the blend of Italian and English on this CD and his version of "Angels We Have Heard on High" sounds as though you're sitting in the Vatican for Christmas Mass. I have read some prior reviews stating that alot of the songs sound alike; there is truth to this. I feel that like many other artists (i.e. John Fogerty, the Beach Boys & Ronnie Spector to name a few) Bocelli has a very unmistakable sound. That's why I titled my review "a must have for Bocelli fans". If you like his music, this is for you. If you're a casual fan, you may want to try and catch the special on PBS before buying to see how you enjoy the music.Free Music Review: SIT BACK AND ENJOY!

Curl up by your fireplace, sit back and enjoy a marvelous Bocelli experience. David Foster has done it again! Who else but these two can make "Jingle Bells" so enjoyable...sung slowly and clearly. I don't think I ever really listened to the words in this song which Andrea makes so uplifting! Tears will come to your eyes with "The Lord's Prayer". The duets with Mary J. Blige, Natalie Cole, Reba McEhntire and Katherine Jenkins combined with Andrea's clear English vocals were fantastic. You will hear a combination of singing in Italian and Engish, which makes this CD so different from the same old, same old holiday music!
Going to be stressed out this Christmas? .make this a purchase and de-stress fast!!
