Don't get me wrong, I love most of Andrea's work but his voice is not totally free and as powerful as some who have achieved similar stature. Experts say that his blindness may produce some hesitation and tentativeness in his delivery. If you listen carefully and comparatively, you'll note these deficiencies. This is true in most of Andrea's performances. We can motivate, encourage and appreciate but must be careful not to sacrifice real quality because of social, nationalistic or unwarranted favoritism and jingoism. Those around Andrea Bocelli should find ways to free his voice and give him more delivery power. He should not select compositions his voice cannot reach or cannot capture their actual soul/emotional value.Free Music Review: Nice, but not what I expected

I thought it had the songs from his Italian concert: It only had a handful of them. It must be superb, however, for opera lovers.
Andrea Bocelli is a star; in a sky full of them, he outshines the other stars. I enjoyed the first half of the CD/DVD set.
Romanza, on the other hand, is a total success, worth listening to over and over and over. I don't get enough of it.

With Respect to Andrea Bocelli, this is not a good "greatest hits" album for him. In comparison, his Duet album is much better, which is what drove me to buy his greatest hits in the first place.
Perhaps I need to let it sink in more, but so far, I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be.
Not bad, but compared to the Duet album, should be much better.

Although Andrea Bocelli has talent and the collection of songs on this album are good, the bonus DVD that comes with this set is a bit too much. Just stick to the CD-only version; you'll be more satisfied with that.
