...maybe that's why I just couldn't take the musical. One of my problems is that Swallow is, really, just too old to believe that the man is Jesus. And the other children, at least musically, are marginalized. We don't get a good sense of their characters through this CD. For those of you who complain that the plot is pointless, the original M.H. Bell novel might clear some of that up. For the musical, a lot of the original clarifying points were lost... And the accents ARE pretty bad, huh.
