Free Music Notes for Whistle Down The Wind (1998 Original London Cast)Free Music Review: FANTASTIC! Hit: 5 Stars
I absolutely love this CD set! I saw the play in London in '98 - one of the best shows I've ever seen. With the CD I can picture the whole show in my mind. I'd rate it higher than 5 starts if I could.
10 months later - I wore out my CDs! Putting my money where my mouth is, I'm buying another set. Money very well spent - even the second time around!
Free Music Review: Great Job Andrew! Hit: 5 Stars
I recently returned from London where I saw this fabulous play. The music was excellent, especially, the title song. Granted, the cast doesn't have the best southern accent I've ever heard, but Kevin Costner can't master the English accent either, so, it's a fair trade. This is the first musical I've ever encountered that has the play in its' entirety. I loved it!
Free Music Review: Fabulously Touching! Hit: 5 Stars
I have placed this Album,Whistle Down The Wind on my TOP OF THE LIST recording....The music is so poignant and feeling I became lost in the beautiful story. After seeing the Show in Washington DC and London, I relive the entire story every time I listen....I feel this is the best of all Andrew Lloyd Webber's Music.
Free Music Review: Accents aside... Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great play! Yes, the fake Southern accents are cringe-worthy but once you get over it, the music and lyrics are really amazing. Lottie Mayor and Marcus Lovett are perfect in their roles -- almost like you can't imagine anyone else in them. This has become my absolute favorite musical of all time.
Free Music Review: Great! Wonderfull Hit: 5 Stars
I used the money I got for my birthday to buy this CD. I own almost every Llod Webber musical on the market. I love this just as much as I love all the others. Webber is a genius. I fell in love with work when I saw Phantom of the Opera in Dallas. If I could I would give all of his works 10 stars.
