Free Music Review: Andy Montanez with La Dimension Latina

Contrary to what its title implies this is NOT a compilation of Andy's solo career as it does not have even one song from his solo albums. It is, however, a great anthology of his late-'70s hits with La Dimension Latina and I truly recommend it to all serious Salsa fans. "Estela Mayombe", "Mujer Impura", "Como Canto Yo", "Pan De Piquito", "Mi Bombolaye", "Cantares" and "Viviendo Del Cuento" were all major hits which are today deservedly considered Salsa classics. Andy Montanez replaced Oscar D'Leon as Dimension Latina's lead singer (when Oscar quit and started his own solo career)...and there couldn't have been a better replacement. Enjoy!
