Woah. From the time the albumn started I was floored. She is UNREAL. I personally prefered this albumn to those she has done with Garbage, (I also dug those though) but you would have to like a little edgier stuff to agree with me on that. There were traces of Siouxee, Evanescance (Suffocate Me), even the Pretenders at times and obviously threads of Garbage. She shows incredible versatility. I wish they had done before she moved to Garbage. If you do not own it and are looking at it, BUY IT.Free Music Review: For Garbage fans who want more

I found this CD after being a Garbage fan for some time. Angelfish strikes me as sort of a stripped down, raw prequel to what we would hear from Shirley Manson later on with Garbage. Standout tracks include "King Of The World", "Dogs In A Cage" and "Heartbreak To Hate". "Suffocate Me" is a nice companion track to later effort "#1 Crush" (Absolute Garbage), a track that takes obsession to a whole new level.
Early Shirley, and highly recommended for longtime fans.

I love Garbage and one day I came acrross this cd because Shirley Manson from Garbag was in Angelfish. At first it wasn't my favorite but now i LOVE it! The vocals, lyrics, and instrumentals are so wonderfull. Featuring master songs as "Heartbreak To Hate", "You Can Love Her", "Sleep With Me" and "The End". Any fan of Garbage's first self-titled album, or any Garbage fan this is a MUST to add to your cd collection.Free Music Review: Different but equal

I've read very different things about Angelfish and all of them are asociated with garbage and Shirley. I like Garbage and the only thing I had to say is that when I first listened Heartbreak to Hate I had no doubt I was a Garbage's song. Angelfish is not the same like Garbage but had a lot of good songs which you would like if your music is pop/rock and that's why this record it's worth Grave Aloe Music Review: shirley manson....known for the band garbageHit: 5 Stars if you appreciate shirley's voice and Garbage's lyrics, i would suggest angelfish. each song is different from the next, so you'll find yourself listening to it often and rarely tiring of it. i suppose it is similar to her selftitled cd, garbage, because her vocals tend to lead the songs---rather than version 2.0 which is carried more by a techno-sounding rythym. overall, it's a very good find, and i'm glad i stumbled upon it.
