I bought this CD 'cause i'm a Garbage fan, and i love Shirley Manson. This is a great record, it doesn't sound like Garbage, it lacks Vig's trademark production and sounds like a rough tape. It's a great CD for punk rock lovers, speaking of love and despair and all of Manson's favorite topics. It's a very soft album with great guitar riffs and easy listening songs.Free Music Review: Get this CD

Little did I know that Shirley's first band was so good! I just heard this CD, and can't stop playing it. I looked up on the web for angelfish, after a friend introduced me to the cd, and discovered that this old band has a new band called the filthy tongues. Their stuff is just as dark and dirty as this CD. Buy this and check out their new stuff!Free Music Review: Pretty good album from Garbage's lead singer...

I bought this trying not compare it too much to her band Garbage. This isn't Garbage. This is her own album and it is pretty good. Strong lyrics, good vocals of course, and a more laid back sound compared to some of Garbage's songs. I put off buying this for ages. I just wasn't sure I'd like it. I love Garbage and was aprehensive about the possibility of being dissapointed by Manson's freshman band...however I was pleasantly surprised! I love it! if you like Garbage GET THIS ONE. Don't think twice! This is not just for completists: it's a real good album. more rock- oriented, rawer than Garbage. just for the song "Suffocate me" this is worth buying
