Free Music Notes for I-Empire

Free Music Review: Once again
Hit: 5 Stars

the guys do it for a 2nd time. A&A make another high quality, energy filled yet important cd with a message. Its done while having fun and going through different moods from tracks like "Everything's Magic" its fun and irressitible song for them to "Star of Bethlehem" a two minute interlude...unlike other interludes on other albums this one actually warrants listening to.

I was a fan from their first cd "We Don't Need To Whisper" with "I-Empire" the guys have firmly established themselves in this music industry and can/will only go up from here. As this cd is one that can't be ignored by folks at all. Loving the cd from beginning to end it flows from one track to the next with an ease that you seldom experience.

First one was all that...2nd one is all that and so much more!!

5/5 overall

Free Music Review: Beautiful. That's All I Have To Say
Hit: 5 Stars

Yo. So, I've been a Blink 182 fan since their CD "Enema of the State." I was sad when they went their seperate ways, but it was relieved when I found this CD, I-Empire. I love Tom. His voice is just excellent and it brings me back to the old days. It also helps the this CD is deep lyrically, it's almost surprising. Blink was always creative, but I truly believe Tom has topped himself here. If you liked Blink-182, then you'll absolutely love this cd. Who really knows what his intentions are, but I love it. Fave songs: Secret Crowds, Sirens, Everything's Magic, and Breathe. Now this is not to say that the rest of the songs aren't good, because they are. Just go get the CD and you'll know what I mean. Keep it up, Angels & Airwaves, you are a breath of fresh air in this pop-y world of ours...

Free Music Review: Pretty Damn Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

I own over 1600 albums from the past 40+ years, and this may be the first time I've given every single track 5/5 stars. There's nothing even close to a weak track in the bunch. It's an uplifting breath of fresh air. There's nothing completely original, but that doesn't matter at all. Every single second is thoroughly enjoyable.

I was never a Blink 182 fan, although I do like a few of their songs. But I considered them mostly bratty and annoying, including Tom Delonge's vocals. But here it works completely. He and the band has done an amazing job. I really enjoyed their debut, but I think this blows it away.

I'm a huge U2 fan, and I highly recommend this album to fans of U2's anthemic music.

Absolutely perfect in every way.

Free Music Review: Goosebumps
Hit: 5 Stars

This is the greatest album I've ever heard. Plain and simple.

I thought there would be absolutely no way that Angels and Airwaves could top their first CD, "We Don't Need to Whisper." Because of this, I listened without expectation -- and I'm blown away.

I think A&A is the first band to realize that music shouldn't be simply heard, it needs to be experienced. I want music to make me feel like I'm part of a story, like every song is another chapter ... Angels and Airwaves does that for me.

I hope others get the same joy from this band and their albums that I have. If you enjoyed "We Don't Need to Whisper," consider this the epic sequel.

Free Music Review: Better than the first album.
Hit: 5 Stars

Whereas "We Don't Need to Whisper" sounded a bit forced and stuck in the eighties, I-Empire brings back Tom Delonge to his element; this move should please both blink fans and fans of AVA alike. There is a much harder rock sound to a lot of the songs on this album, and the slower songs show a side of Tom we've never heard. "Rite of Spring" is also the most personal song he has ever written. This album feels much more thought out as well - there aren't needless wandering instrumental bits stuffed into the songs. Pick it up if you like catchy rock music with a positive theme (the powerful notion that "you can do anything"). Highly recommended.
