the song "fade into you by mazzy star" was featured in the movie (angus) but how come the song was not featured on the soundtrack. It made me real mad cause the song plays a huge part in the movie the song was played when angus danced the girl of his dreams the part that really made me cry. Every song is awesome on here even the goo goo dolls show up with a good song. The most popular bands in 1995 are here Weezer, Green Day, Goo Goo dolls and Smoking Popes. Plus their a lot of other bands that weren't that popular at the time that got a lot of exposure because of this soundtrack. Best songs: "J.A.R." , "Mrs. you and me", "funny face" , "am i wrong".Free Music Review: You buy a CD for one song...

...and you see where it gets you. This CD is incredible. I bought it for the opening song in the film ('Am I Wrong' by Love Spit Love), but have enjoyed it for all the other tracks.From what I understand, the song referenced above was not written with the marching band in it. That was added for the film. Incredible. It's my favorite movie opening.

I've seen the movie at least four thousand times :) and I loved the music in it, but I have a question that's been totally bugging me. What is the name of the song that plays when Angus and Melissa do the slow dance at the winter ball? Bought this cd for the Green Day song J.A.R when it first came out. Don't usually go for movie sound tracks but was pleasantly surprised. All the songs on this album are terrific. Only saw the movie recently and it is great. Oughta know . . . was there when rock'n'roll was born.
