Ani Difranco's imperfectly album is her all time best, i am an avid fan of hers and all i can say is if you think you know ani, but don't own this album, well you don't know jack ! The waiting song is the tear jerker...across state lines will make you think, imperfectly is just all around ani...BUY THIS ALBUM ! it is a great starter for your ani collection and a great addition to ani fans world...she's amazing, you'll either love her or hate her, but she will always make you think and appreciate music on another level.Free Music Review: Classic Ani!

This woman just never quits. She isn't the original "angry woman" as many have labeled her. She's so much more than that. The raw emotion and power that she displays on every track is amazing. Her lyrics are funny, disturbing, witty, moving and yes, sometimes, angry. This "indie" artist has captured the world in her music--a world that isn't alwasy pretty but a world which is always very, very real. Every few years ani puts out an album that seems to contain her entire philosophy of life distilled down to lyrics. This is one of those. If you are of a like mind, you will love the songs on this disc (and if you're like me you'll compulsively sing along). Ani is still just starting to flesh out her sound here, so there's still plenty of her basic singer/songwriter folkie guitar sound.Free Music Review: MUST HAVE

I have been a fan of Ani for a long time this album is a must have for everyone. Imperfectly and Living in Clip are are some of Ani's best work if you don't own any Ani yet start here it will change your life. I wouldn't even know where to start trying to explain why this album is so great so buy it and figure it out yourself, as it will mean something different to each person.Free Music Review: tied for my favorite

This album is one of her least popular, but i dont know why. Its so great from beginning to end no matter what mood your in. It has some of my favorite songs by the great one herself(the waiting song, make him apoligize). Two of my very favorites. The whole album is so perfect. Its a joy from beginning to end.
