Absoulutely wonderful album! Ani amazes me yet again with the beautiful Knuckle Down. The quality and care she puts into her work really shows, her albums are always well put together and she's always extreamly enthusiastic about each project she delivers. The music, the packaging, the presentation. All great! She's really someone I admire, she puts out all her own albums and founded Righteous Babe Records all by herself. 'Knuckle Down' was my first foray into the musical world of Ani DiFranco, and has quickly become one of my favourite albums of all-time. If you're tired of the generic, manufactured music so common to modern network air waves, this disc is for you. I am new to Ani - I saw her at the Philly Folk Fest last year and wasn't ready to "get her". I heard Studying Stones on XPN one day and felt transported to another realm. Ani has managed to kick my philosophical butt....and my ears will never be the same.
