For those who have all of her classic chancetaking verve sessions and long for more, this is the next logical choice. In fact Anita O'Day sounds so vibrant and inspired on this set, one would think it was recorded in the same period as her 60's Verve years, and not about 15 years later. O'Day turns standards like Mean To Me, and gives them her own spin with lot's of improvisation, and high musicianship throughout. This might be Anita's finest post Verve set, and it's definately worth acquiring.
