This 2CD set just arrived - have played the first CD four times, just love it!!! Real dance numbers for couples who remember what it's like to dance "together" - back in the days when a guy held a gal and got around the dance floor. Anne Murray is a great singer and I go way back with her albums. On this her new CD "All of Me" she does wonderful arrangements of all those standards and classics. Just put in on, grab your partner, dance up a storm, or just sit and listen, or join in with Anne, harmonize away, takes you back!!! I recommend this CD to folks that are older than baby boomers - mostly because of the first CD - but the younger folks, they too could learn to love these tunes, so many new artits today have "seen the light" and are doing old the old standby songs, with great success!Free Music Review: Deserves more than 5 stars

This is absolutely my favorite of Anne Murray's albums. I've added it to my playlist(s) and listen to the songs, both her hits and the older standards, almost every day while I work. We've taken the CD along on every road trip and it gets a workout there, too, with my husband and I both singing along. We both love the arrangements on the older songs -- there's a Dixieland feel to some of them and despite what the Amazon review says, they're wonderful. Amazon reviews are one person's opinion -- remember that! I've always loved Murray's voice -- it's beautiful but approachable -- the kind of voice you CAN sing along to -- and on this album it's showcased beautifully. This album is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Anne is the tops and there are no others who can compare to this lady. She does everything to perfection. She can take a song and wrap her voice around it and make it a gem, no matter what....This album is full of wonderful suprises and the instrumentals are just out of this world. Anne is full of emotion on every note, what a tribute to a best buddy.
We love her and hope to hear more of her over the years to come...do yourself a favor and buy one of these albums for everyone you know......and when Anne guys on tour, make sure you catch her there too, because it is something you will never forget....

You can safely ignore the Amazon Editorial Review. This CD is one of my very favorites. Not only does it include many of the songs that I grew up with and recall fondly to this day, but they are arranged in what I'd consider an almost perfect balance to both the lyrics and to Anne's presentation, complementing but not overpowering her singing. Very professional and creative arrangements. In fact, I listen to this CD as much for the arrangements as for Anne's performance. I hope she'll do another one like it, with some more of the old classics on it.Free Music Review: MY BUDDY ( never lets me down )

I Love the Ol' Standards and Anne puts her stamp on TWILIGHT TIME
and MY BUDDY (the latter dedicated to the memory of one of her dear friends). On the second disc are all the greatest hits and then some, some popular concert favorites, and award winners which ever continent or country you're in. ALL OF ME is a wonderfull get if this is the only Anne Murray CD you'll ever own! Well, maybe CROONIN' too...Neither lets me down!!
