Sure, by now you think Mme. Celine Dion is THE VOICE from Canada. Or perhaps, that there are good female singers... But no one like Ms. Barbra Streisand. Sure, you may also say that "The Divine Miss M" (a.k.a. Bette Midler) is THE FEMALE VOICE. Or that the late Karen Carpenter was unique... What about THE UNIQUE Liza Minnelli?... Futile discussions!
If you like music, WELL-SUNG MUSIC, Anne Murray is YOUR CHOICE. This lady sings like an angel! I don't pretend to say that because of it, she's better than Barbra, Celine, Miss M., Karen or Liza. She's a very good, talented singer! She sings as she's pretending you to do anything possible to make you feel better after your latest heartbreak event.
In this album you will find almost all of her best hits, even a wonderful cover of The Beatles' "You Won't See Me".

Excellent CD: timesless classics and a touching alto make Anne Murray a favorite of mine.
The CD itself is entertaining and the styles od the songs vary nicely as they were published in three decades.
I do strongly recommend this CD.
