This was the very first album I ever owned, one day after kindergarten my mother and I went to the mall and she bought this for me on vinyl. While I still have the vinyl edition, I'm glad to finally have picked up a copy of this on CD. It's neat to see the updated cover art too(however I prefer the old one).
If I had my way, ever child born would get a copy of this album. It's straight-forward, well produced, and charming. "Hey Daddy" is a cute nod to children's imagination, "Teddy Bear Picnic" is a hysterical, and "You Are My Sunshine" is a celebration to the wonder of childhood. A definate treat for those who long to relive the comfort and memory of childhood.
